Hisui & Kohaku isn't so bad since they have limited movesets (compared to their moveset when you pick one individually). Though out of the two I'd say Kohaku is the harder matchup because of the extra reach she has with her broom.

@Fred Duwe ok what I can agree is that the tsukihime anime is non existent as for Fate my favorite route is HF I'm not a big fan of the original cuz I dislike saber (for persona reasons) UBW is kinda okay but the fight scenes are nice but in terms of story HF is my favorite In terms of writing I'll say I like them both equally But in terms of powerlevel shiki is pretty strong and Fate stay Night Gil would probably lose to Arceuid

Melty blood is a fighting game spinoff of tsukihime the main franchise created by type moon that takes place in the nasuverse(huge multiverse of different franchises created by kinoko nasu ceo of type moon. Fate is apart of this nasuverse as well) Tsukihime started as a long form visual novel in 2000 and branched off into different forms of media. If your looking for the basics you can find the tsukihime manga online easily by googling which tells a beautiful story and gives context to the events and world and characters

A much beloved manga adaption and a terrible anime so bad its become a meme for fans that it literally doesnt even exist. Melty blood was a fighting game spinoff in 2002 serving as a kinda weird sequel to the plot of tsukihime but not really which essentially has a backdrop to set up whacky situations that wouldent be able to normally exist in tsukihime. The characters minds exaggerated onto reality kinda. Thats why you see weird cats and maids that are robots or fight with cleaning tools. An excuse to get weird. These might be how Melty Blood name was created in the first place. Firstly, Melty Blood is one of Arcueid Brunesteid special combos. It also might reference to Dust of Osiris, the Sion in the arcade mode of Melty Blood that has been corrupted to become a vampire and have a rank in 27 Dead Apostles ranking. As Dust of Osiris, she lose all reason and her only goal is only to give humanity salvation before the self-destruction of humanity came for them by disassemble all of them into living circuits to power up this red jewel/crystal/sand(?) called Philosopher Stone to create Aqua Vitae, an alchemy that can heal and cure anything. And the tool she uses this is called Hermes, a Spiritron Computer which will keep the human record eternally. So yeah, Melty Blood name might also refer to the Aqua Vitae, the red sand/jewel/crystal(?) because of the colour and how it was seen in the last stage of the arcade mode in Melty Blood covered in red blood like subtances featuring Dust of Osiris as the last boss. The lore for this game and other series that related to it are actually very deep. Then, people just joke that Melty Blood is blood that is melty.
