The correct way to do this is take the wheel off an pop it out from the back side. Then you can push the new one in from the front. This guy does not take care of his car.

Should have left the original caps bought some new black wheel bolts and washed the wheels, now you have got cheap looking caps rusty wheels bolts and chipped rims which will corrode if you don't get some paint on them, total cock up.

Also easy safe way is to put tape on with center grip and just pull out with pliers NO DAMAGE and no need to take off the rims.
