Definitely feels like these cards were supposed to be in a structure deck but for whatever reason they weren't able to launch it so they just split the cards into the core sets.
Could be something as simple as “We gotta fill out these sets, but not enough time. Why don’t we just use the water structure deck cards we were sitting on”
they probably felt it was weird since the og was mostly just umi stuff and atlanteans. it's part of the reason why the gemini structure didn't come to the tcg since it randomly had infernobles that really do there own thing rather than support the gemini strategy
@@royalnickle i'm aware of that i mostly said it for the tcg end and why that could be a reason for why the atlantean structure got canceled since it was less doing it's own thing and more just supporting other stuff to be merged in. granted i don't know what konami thinks with these things even tho it should be easy for them to make a lot more structure decks in general.
I don’t know, possibly drawing 3 cards off a trap that you can get for free is pretty good. I see what you are saying but mermail is pretty “resilient” going first and can usually end on a good board though handtraps especially with this new support but only time will tell. Love the content!
Hmm, the new main deck poseidra should have been a quick effect like High Avatar Kirin. Then it would be a great going second card but it is not. Extremely missed opportunity.
This means we will not have a Structure Deck R this year? Some people are saying that they cancel the Atlantean Structure R and then put the cards in the main collections '-'
@@AliacadosDuelistas no SD:R this year. Konami appears to have skipped Atlanteans to put them in core sets. Luckily blue-eyes was next in line and got theirs, so whether Konami calls it SD:R next year or not: cyber dragon should be next up. Hope this helps
Am I weird for thinking there’s 1 more card coming? Probably in ALIN (Alliance Insight the next core) … and I bet it’s gonna be the main deck version of Poseidra 🌊🌊
