Pretty sweet screwdriver. I like the idea of using it with sockets. I have a ratcheting t- handle and a screwdriver but they are both really cheap versions, I haven't had any problems with them, but the Milwaukee looks like a nice upgrade. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for commenting. It’s really nice for the price point and has some heft. Definitely worth looking into while on sale!

I like how the bits are inside the handle in the carousel.

I does make it quite a bit more convenient to use.

The shaft has play because it's removable

That is true but the whole ratchet moves as well.

Yikes. That’s not a good feature then. I’m not in love with mine either if it makes you happy. You should seriously check out my Megapro video I just did. It’s a solid budget choice. What's with the reviews on these all of a sudden? I got my stubby version like 3+ months ago and this bigger one was available then too. The stubby is held back massively by a huge amount of 'back drag', making the ratcheting close to useless for anything besides short screws in wood or maybe drywall anchors. I want a stubby with almost no backdrag, but it seems like some of the only ones with low enough backdrag to ratchet for machine screws are ones like Gedore's roll gear mechanism and maybe LTT's and a couple others. Couple other 'ratcheting scrwedriver backdrag comparison' videos out there on YT.

Thanks for the feedback. These just landed locally hence the review. I want to like this screwdriver but the back drag is substantial. Unless this wears in I won’t be using it regularly. I have a couple other ratcheting screwdrivers on my radar. Please consider subscribing so you can see what we pick next. 👍🏻

LTT, short for Linus Tech Tips are a media group and they made their own ratcheting screwdriver that seemingly is pretty darn good! It competes with high end ones. You might want to have a look on that one!

@@thingsmen The Linus Tech Tips screwdriver is a lot more expensive though… almost four times more expensive.

Looks like junk. You wouldn't think Milwaukee would sell something that cheaply made. Thanks for the heads up on that one. My antique Stanley is more robust

Yea the more I compare it to other ratchets the more I dislike it. Klein just came out with a new ratcheting driver that’s the same price but the mechanism is much better. I did a video on it a few weeks back. You should check it out as I do a side by side. 👍🏻
