And sometimes they’re so tight you can’t even throw them in there with your fingers and of course you should use just a socket and turn it by here but if you’ve done it for a number of years you to spin it real slow and throw them on I know I’ve done it if you’re in a hurry heaters, Spoonman slow, and one thing people don’t do is use a torque wrench. Don’t use impact snuggle him up and Torkom correctly because you destroy a rim used to destroy you tear the lug nut up, tear your threads up. You warper rotor you warped the hub because everything is not torque properly even a pattern and when you’re on the side of the road, you can’t get the Lugnuts off because they’re over tightened, and you bust a lug nut off because when they get hot cold lug nuts actually tighten their cells up even more people don’t realize is that’s why you torque everything

I am sorry my previous reply has been deleted for some reason. To me, 1/2 in drive feels sturdy compare to the 3/8 in drive. And it's hard to find sockets after like 21mm for 3/8" drive. I bought this mainly to takeoff lugnuts. According to my research this is what I have found: We all know the three common drive socket. They are 1/4" 3/8" & 1/2" drive. (There is 3/4" drive & etc..) Typically: For 1/4" drive, sockets comes 6-13mm. For 3/8" drive, socket comes 8-19mm For 1/2" drive, socket are 19mm> I found a set from tekton which has 8-24mm. www.amazon.com/dp/B08DK7X2N7/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_fabc_NE5691TDWFHSV6RY2JEF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I agree with all the information he gave you. When I was buying my M12 Stubby I had to decide either 3/8s or 1/2" and went with 1/2" since my impact sockets are already 1/2" (Upgraded from my old Ryobi 1/2" brushed impact). It didn't make sense buying a 3/8s drive because usually bolts that require a 3/8s drive aren't that hard to take off with a ratchet, so unless your a mechanic and don't feel like breaking "somewhat stubborn" bolts loose with a ratchet every day the 3/8s drive would be best. The only positive I can see in getting a 3/8s drive is because the sockets are usually smaller. Compare a 3/8s 17mm impact to a 1/2" 17mm impact and you'll see what I mean. If you really want both, I'd recommend getting the compact version in 3/8s and the mid torque in 1/2. The compactness of the smaller impact would pair great with the smaller 3/8 impact sockets
