They didn't double it lol, they claimed 250 because back when the current stubby was released, it wasn't super common to state both tightening and loosening torque. The old one does 250-270 tightening and around 400 loosening. The new one will probably do 325-350 tightening and 550 loosening.
Yea lol it was impressive them claiming 250 and the old stubby removing 400 450 . It would of been impressive if the gen 2 removed 700 lbs of torque. It's just to close to the gen 1 to upgrade .
The channel Shop Tool Reviews has already shown the gen 2 Stubby is able to break away 600 ft Ib; I’m not to sure about tightening still waiting for The torque test channel to review it.
