Comeback?.. Gearwrench never left 8:25.. it's called Kaizen...5S...it's actually over a decade old and some are just now getting onto the idea of 5s and Kaizen organization practices
Matt! Slow down bro! you gotta let these guys talk about their products for a second, Lol. I realize ur a little pressed for time, but I legit thought you were gonna cut that kids hand off with those GW boxes! Ya turned those drawers into little guillotines! You went so fast the poor Mayhew man forgot where they made tools, titanium somehow reduced stripping, and the Koken girl thought knurling was anti-wobble. Lol. Love your vids man, I just don't wanna see ya have a brain jammer at the next tool show😉
Way to shout out the aviation guys. Im in my 2nd week as a new aviation airframe apprentice. Ill be shadowing my stuff on friday when I take my box in. For us it is SAE only except one airframe. 1/4" and occasional 3/8". If you and gear wrench came out and worked with our dept you could build out some of the tools in a partial kit. We have 3000 employees with 3 large facilities and 29 satellites. Some departments interior, structure, powerplant, avionics, paint, and airframe.
I've purchased a nice quarter and three eighths additions too my tools. I recommend them also throw in a few of tone tools that are unique to the brand especially if you're me and work on Hondas all day
i have designed on paper a install tool for the 5.4 triton ford engine to install the hard to reach rear bolt on the oil pump made a simple proto type and used and works after that figured a much better way to do the same job. eliminates the need to loosen or remove oil pan. main use is installing the hard to reach bolt on oilpump pickup but do not know where to go from here with it hopefully you are interested. or VIM
They didn't double it lol, they claimed 250 because back when the current stubby was released, it wasn't super common to state both tightening and loosening torque. The old one does 250-270 tightening and around 400 loosening. The new one will probably do 325-350 tightening and 550 loosening.
Yea lol it was impressive them claiming 250 and the old stubby removing 400 450 . It would of been impressive if the gen 2 removed 700 lbs of torque. It's just to close to the gen 1 to upgrade .
The channel Shop Tool Reviews has already shown the gen 2 Stubby is able to break away 600 ft Ib; I’m not to sure about tightening still waiting for The torque test channel to review it.
Hey guys! A big fan of the show. Got a question, is there any talk in the works of Milwaukee making an M12 FUEL edition of the small sander/polisher that currently is a non fuel version with brushes? Just curious. You guys rock!
Great post, thanks guys for sharing! I finally bought the VIM microfiber and she is badass, bought it just to clean my TV's and tablets, works perfect, and I bought the chemical guys microfiber cleaner and its a heck of a combo!
