Patch 2.2 has been such a banger.
I didn't care for Robin nor Sunday but now I love them. The final battle was exciting especially when Sunday got railed.
The only bad thing is that our second date with Firefly is not voiced. Why MHY?
Anyway I could finally treat her in return. Thirty million credits well spent!

The reason I pulled Robin is due to her potential synergy with Acheron. On paper her buffs are not top tier, but her AoE advance forward allows infinite possibilities. The caveat is that she only advances forward around once per cycle, given enough energy regeneration.

BEST ROBIN BUILD?
IMO she needs very high investment to build. You want to cast her ULT as soon as possible (right after your DPS moves), meaning you want Vonwacq and around 180 SPD or more. That way you can cast her next Ult sooner. This will benefit you whether you 0 cycle or not. Also obviously she will be fast AF and can generate decent amount of SP during her downtime.
People recommend 121 SPD to outspeed 160 SPD characters. This I agree, but energy regeneration might be inconsistent, especially if you don't have her signature LC or Bronya's LC. Plus, she can recover 1 SP using basic attack if she moves right after your DPS, which helps SP economy.
Therefore I conclude that fast Robin with Vonwacq is the way. By using SPD boots you lose at most 150 ATK buff, which is not that significant (around 5% damage buff). Since there's still something to lose, you can stay at 121 SPD (if your DPS has 134 SPD or more) until you can speedtune using Vonwacq.
Without Vonwacq, more SPD for Robin is OK but you'll still want to cast her ult after your DPS's second turn if you are unlucky, so make Robin move a little faster than your DPS to generate SP, then cast ULT as soon your DPS finishes attacking. This will put your DPS at the end of the que, just like what I did with Acheron in this video.

ROBIN LC and EIDOLONS ARE NOT WORTH IT
Robin's LC only gives 24% damage buff, and slightly higher ATK buff. While it might be significant for your damage, I'd rather use Bronya's LC for SP. Anyway if you lucked out and got the LC, it's still the best in slot for Robin.
I'd prefer pulling Ruan Mei's LC and using it on Trailblazer. Ruan Mei can use Memories of The Past to keep her 3-turn ult rotation.
Ruan Mei rerun is probably coming next patch, you should save up a lot of stellar jades if you want to survive.
Don't be tempted by Robin's E1. Compared to Ruan Mei her buffs don't have 100% uptime unless you are min-cycling. Just farm better relics instead of wasting Jades.

ROBIN VS OTHER HARMONIES
Compared to Ruan Mei and Sparkle, Robin has lower performance. Therefore before pulling you have to think about when you are going to use her.
As in my case, I will still build Robin but can't see many teams where she will beat Ruan Mei. Even Firefly will need Ruan Mei and if you bring Robin it means you don't bring any sustain. Since Firefly breaks enemies very easily and her teammates can do Superbreaks, Robin might be one of the best choice in a no sustain Firefly team comp.
Sparkle kinda breaks the game due to being an SP positive Bronya. Ruan Mei gives strong unique buffs that you can't get anywhere else. It is clear that if I had to choose only one of them, I would prioritize Ruan Mei and Sparkle over Robin.

IS ROBIN FUTUREPROOF?
I doubt they will release another character with advance forward in the near future. Despite not having unique buffs, she still gives huge DMG%, ATK%, and CDMG. Even if a gamebreaking Harmony character is released I believe Robin will still have some use. Plus she's fun to use and synergizes with follow-up, superbreak and DoT teams. If you get her you should build her and try her out.
