For anyone that's curious about the modifiers and haven't read the patch notes: "Tank" attribute means that any instance of damage dealt to the enemy will only deal a maximum of 1 damage. "Bloated" attribute means that the enemy's health is double that of its usual health. "Nimble" attribute doubles the enemy's speed. "Slime" attribute causes the enemy to turn into a slime on death. I'm not too sure of the properties of the slime enemy itself. "Health Regeneration" is, of course, self-explanatory. The "Tank" attribute doesn't, however, decrease ramming damage from units, which is why the tanks have little trouble clearing them out in the video via ramming but deals little damage to them by shooting. Edit: thanks for @ProjectTriniity for correcting my "Nimble" attribute description, I mistakenly typed "health" instead of "speed".
Personally, i'd ADORE it if they added a sort of new Hidden Wave, except instead of Creator, the Golden Titan comes back, and maybe even has effects on gold towers. This would be a GREAT callback
Imagine next April fools there’s a new mode for both tds and tdx. In tds new mode there is eradicator and then I tdx there’s the Fallen King. That would be funny.
I think mid-early game in this mode is a little bit unbalanced (you can't farm if you play solo unless you're 5ouls) . Like getting 50 bosses that transform into slimes +healing on wave 15 is strange while on fallen you just got 2 bosses a wave ago and now hiddens
Imo despite the mod being a bit easy, I think that the theme of the mode is very fun and unique. And it uses the theme of enemies more well than the other three modes
the tank ability on reaver makes it so that all projectiles only do 1 DAMAGE, so while towers like mini and militant make quick work of it, it's basically a death sentence if you use rangers
hey elite can you do a video about using only towers from rarities like in the first match you will use scout sniper solider demonman and hunter and in 2nd match use intemdiate towers like crook boss farm millitary baase millitant and shotgunner in 3rd match use smth like cowboy mini commander dj and ranger and in 4th match use any gem tower which are accel engi and necro

They need to buff it for sure. Super cool gsmemode but its easY AAAND!! PLUS IT DOESNT LOOK WELL WITH THE OTHER MODES!! Easy mode and intermediate mode look new while fallen and molten look sooo old 😭
Very recommended tower to bring is mini, rocketer, and ranger with there dps this mode are easy because Minigunner will be very good against strong enemy so those with ranger however for Rocketer he is very good against crowd with his very big dmg Military base and militant also work well so it's okay
@@Wheat_Land you cant really say copied if all the towers are basic towers from every td game and tdx went for a military approach so of course they have things like shotgunner and a minigun. But you are forgetting the fact that tds copied tower battles.
idk why but my dumbass when the new mode came out, i strategize like i was going to do hardcore, thinking to much. but i look at this and im like: this is really easy
you said the loadout of military base and militant could get far in fallen mode, if you add some other towers and regular crook boss could you use the loadout for the final task in the "you're being recorded" mission
a tip for military base the timer when you upgrade goes half and does not reset the timer so place the military when there is a low time like 2 or 1 PLACE NOT UPGRADE
Intermediate mode sucks and no you cant change my mind. 1) Stylistically doesn't fit in with TDS so most of the enemies stand out and are very weird to look at. 2) I doubt anyone actually play tested this mode and if they did the people that did play test it weren't varied enough to give a good results leading to this game mode being much more difficult comparative to what originally should have. 3) Ignoring the 2 last points the mode it self feels like something that would be in TDX. I mean seriously? you mean to tell me the TDS dev's just randomly decided that it would be a cool idea to make a new boss that's scientist theme 'ed and is hell bent on creating abominations to kill the players base? Where Have I herd that one before? I mean I wouldn't even be that mad if it weren't for the fact that they've been practically stealing everything from TDX. 4) Did I also mention that the nerfed molten mode? yeah now molten mode is suppose to only give you 400 coins while the new mode which is arguably harder that fallen mode only gives you 500. 6) Nerfed Shotgunner into the ground but they didn't want to call it a full blown nerf so they made him a little cheaper to scape goat it into a "Rework". 7) There balance tester started using balancing-feedback channel to make fun of people who wanted to see golden mode actually return. Also I just realized that there isn't even a badge nor a reward for beating intermediate mode, which I think goes to show how rushed this update was. 1/10 update One of the worst updates they've made thus far, comparably as worse as the hardcore update.
I agree with you Im one of the people who wants golden mode back since it was removed and this feels like bullying, replaceing my favorite mode. Also my molten speedruns wont be as good as they where beacouse it only gives 400 coins now, it gives 500 since it was added in the game, why did they have to nerf it?
The mode is hella easy, with the militant buff you can use only militant and win which is hilarious and disproves it being harder than fallen. Also a patient zero exists in almost every zombie invasion story ever, its a cliche, not something special to tdx. Yeah the molten mode nerf was pretty uneeded Why should there be a reward for intermediate? Its a new mode like molten fallen and easy, they give coins and xp, thats their reward.
btw Tank trait means they only take 1 damage per hit unless from unit collisions. bloated means double hp. nimble means double speed. slime = spawn slime on death and you know hp regen
This isn't necessarily easier than molten, just that the newer gamemodes pretty much farm for you. You get 12k in the late game in this gamemode per wave (in solo).
that "tank glitch" isnt only for tank, it probably just happens cuz of the his healing ability so he prob just heals right before death same happened to me and i wasnt playing with any summon towers
I played this with my friend and by myself and its way to easy, first make the health bigger like 100k for a better feel of a harder boss for beginners, ne t the rage mode is very flawed, it should be like fallen king to where the boss cant be hit though its unique and good IF it is buffed
Golden Mode replacement lol The gamemode is pretty ez and so does the boss you can just beat it with only military base and farm Or just military base alone But just use military base and farm because it make it easier
They nerfed molten mode 0:01 3:56 also its not that the slimes summoned a ghoul its that they disguise as a ghoul and then when you killed the ghoul they become a slime, basically reverse mysteries.
The problem with this is its income system. Its income system has the same performance from easy mode so sharing money isnt going to be effective so farms and Cowboys are needed for this mode
I tried to solo this mode and i did, enemies pushed my defenses only because of those dang breakers, i used golden mini, golden cowboy, dj, and commander. I had farm but i didnt use it, and gcowboy is very good for early defense. Edit: I think that tanks healed from the heal pools
As someone which last time really played TDS being on the 2020 Winter event (the sledger one), seeing it now feels like a completely different game lol Also, they still haven’t changed Militant’s upgrade pictures? lol
I don't play TDS's waiting game very much so I made the mode way challenging for myself placing things at front which is so much fun actually, shame that I wouldn't come back to this mode activity
you can actually solo intermadiate with only military base and actually you could beat fallen with your loadout edit:reaver takes so littel damage bc they have tank buff which makes them take only 1 damage per attack
i died using my fallen loadout in intermediate either i have a skill issue or i should really stop skipping waves also i recommend not skipping on intermediate because theres now wave clear bonuses when you kill all the enemies in a wave its really good in my opinion
also! it is so much easier to get accel before wave 10 (at least on this mode) i got it on wave 8 easily from 3 level 2 farms and 1 level 1 farm dont know what this can be used for but hey at least i can say i got accel on wave 8
I did it in like 19 minutes, you cant use gladiator bc the boss will kill you the first one, This mode is pretty easy My loadout was: dj g mini accel g crook and farm
i somehow find it harder than fallen lol, especially when i tried to use glad to speedrun and engineer quicks and slow come out too quickly and does not allow me to farm properly
Yea, the boss is easy imo but the reavers take a long time to kill even when i had a max accel. I think the counter to enemies with tank modifier is high firerate towers. I was still able to solo first attempt so i think its not too hard
1 fallen will be reworked soon (alongside molten) 2 this gamemode is made for intermiediet towers, like militant, pyro or mili base, just look at enemies and you will realise that they are countered by specific towers
