*CLARIFICATION/CORRECT ON THE TOW ASSIST:* I misunderstood the explanation apparently and want to clear this up *STANDARD:* 7k axles. 8k springs. Drum brakes. Tow assist ABS/Anti-Sway *OPTIONAL:* 8k Axles. 8k Springs. Swap Tow Assist for Disc Brakes _Hope that helps. Sorry about that!_ *I had some questions on the sound system. You can learn more about that and more right here:* www.brinkleyrv.com/wp-content/uploads/Docs/Flyers/24/G/2024-Brinkley-Model-G-3950-Floorplan-Flyer-Pre-Production-Preview.pdf
Hmm that’s a tough one.. so you lose tow assist but you gain disk brakes? I’m guessing that the tow assist isn’t compatible with disk breaks. I’d rather have disk breaks for sure but losing the tow assist and paying an additional $7,088 seems a little steep.
@@AnthonyOrtiz247 currently tow assist is not compatible with discs - that's correct I get what you're saying. It's a harsh exchange considering the money involved
I was going to suggest making that U-shaped couch into an L-shaped couch....until I saw that the couch slides in. This floor plan is just GENIUS! Dang it, Brinkley. I first fell in love with the 3100. Then the 2900. Then the 3500 toy hauler. Then the 3610 mid-bunk. Now THIS! It's a good thing I'm not super rich or I would have 4 Brinkley RVs by now. LOL Thanks again for another great review, Josh. They knocked it out the park AGAIN!
I love this unit. I would change the curtains in the bedroom and go for shades. I would also gut the back and make a craft room/greenhouse out of that, and the dogs would love that patio.🎉 If I had a place to park this for fulltime living, I would write a check today.
A big thanks to you and Brinkley for showing us this amazing product! They have and will continue to make the industry better overall as they set the expectation for quality and finish
This is amazing. Another idea for the couch is to make the left part of the U closest to dinesk a chaise, where the end is actually clipped in so you can unclip it and make the couch an L then use it as an ottoman. Would love to see this with a smaller garage for bikes and a real 1/2 bath (hoping that’s the 3250 🤞🏻). Great job Josh and Brinkley! 🎉
I really love this rig. The living area is by far the best I've ever seen! I would love to see this floor plan with a shorter garage, 45' 5" is a monster! If the G 3950 and the G 3500 could get together and make a baby with a shorter garage I would be so stoked! I think a 40ish foot version of this would rock; I would even be willing to lose the half bath. One more thing, I would want the ramp accessories (bar, paper towel holder, etc.) of the Z 3400. Well worth the wait Uncle Josh! #RVNerdHerd
Any chance you've thought about keeping a space for a twin bed or a smaller room, but no garage? Agreed on the length being too long and with our way of camping we wouldn't want/need the garage but love the rest of the main living layout.@@BrinkleyRV
❤yes and maybe a flip up ir slude out to connect bith cabinets so you dint feel like youre in the couch...i can see kids terrorizing couch sitters....lol
Totally agree! If you're prepping/serving food, need some type of protection/divider between the island and couch. And a pop-up table for the couch would be beneficial also! Awesome model overall!
The few things I would like to change or replacement options; 1. Have an "L" shape couch instead of the "U", 2. Remove garage bathroom and have W/D option there instead.
Really I love this thing! I do agree with some of the comments though an l shape sofa at least as an option would be cool, it would make that living area feel way more open
Looks like I might be wanting this one. to me the only thing wrong is the bathroom in the garage. But It will do cant wait and will be ordering either this one 3950 or the 4000 for sure
After years of stagnation, we are getting an onslaughtvalanche of innovation from Brinkley! I'm heading to the Hartford CT show later this month to see one! And waiting with baited breath to see the couples travel trailer! Thanks Josh And thank you Brinkley
Love this new floor plan-dang near perfect! We have sent an email to Bish’s sales for more info. A couple of change requests; ability to access kitchen fridge with slides in, ability to totally stow that rolling table under the side window so it does not stick out at all, and final request would be to replace the fold-down sink in 1/2 bath with something stationary, even if tiny (dirty hands opening that sink grosses me out). Wish we could have seen in person at the RV show in FL!
Thank you Josh, and Brinkley. This is a fantastic toy hauler, and I can't think of anything I'd change. Brinkley has thought of everything as far as I'm concerned!
I actually love the U-shaped couch! Do the 2 seats in the middle of the couch recline? If not, they need to. They also need to add some cup holders that can use trays for movie snacks and drinks. Plugs for devices would be nice, too.
Absolutely love this setup! Well done Brinkley! And thank you Josh! I would love it if Brinkley would look at offering a residential king bed instead of just the RV king. Keep up the great work guys!
Holy freaking butt kicker of an RV Batman!!!! It’s quite clear that Brinkley has taken the unquestioned lead in producing the finest RVs in their class on the market period. Soo sooo soooo much to like here. A Toy hauler with an interior that actually doesn’t feel cramped. A metric ton of incredible features. They have so created a Toy Hauler that could appeal to a much wider range of users. I have family who just came off the road after 3 years constantly traveling full time in a Mesa Ridge 395BHS with their 6 kids. This could have been an awesome option for them had it existed given all the sleeping options in the garage and the ability to do some really cool things with that blank canvas. Well done Brinkley!!!!
yep, waiting to see what they release as far as couples trailers... hoping to have a king and NOT a neckbreaker tv. the only travel trailer theyve released so far is a very disappointing floor plan, in my opinion of course.
Ok, ok, I can't remember the last time I was this excited to see an RV! I had to pause it, and get ready, crazy right!(I just saw the LUXE45FB and they have now implimented at least a half a dozen Brinkley firsts! The gratest for of flatery, is to copy someone or something!) Ok, here we go!
Josh, you are awesome! We have owned campers for 30 years! We were just at the show in Des Moines, IA... you delivered a great review on this! We are getting in line for one! Love how enthusiastic you are and are able to compare so many different options that are standard on this that are missing in other toy haulers! Grateful to Brinkley for providing this for recent empty nesters!
20+ year rv-er here - Absolutely love this rig. Headed to Tampa from Alberta Canada specifically to see this in person before we order it. No issues with the half bath at all - love the flexibility and small footprint. We have friends with a G3500 and it is absolutely amazing - I cannot overstate the level of quality. Thank you Brinkley for being so innovative and customer focused. A huge thank-you to you Josh for another stellar video - we all appreciate your efforts! Only question I have for Brinkley is: Are paint options on the G still tracking to the latter half of ‘24?
I don't have a hard date on paint options quite yet. I know they're getting there but just aren't currently. I suspect your estimated time frame is probably correct but I dont want to over promise and under-deliver
Love this floor plan, but would love to see them do this exactly the same but without the garage. Really want side tables in the bedroom, and would love to see a north south bed instead. The pantry unit is fabulous, my preferred style. Super happy to see the brake lights mid height rather than at the bumper level. Amazing storage all through the unit.
Thank you for Josh bringing the rest of the RV to life that wasn’t online in the limited photos Brinkley had on their site. I was pretty sure I wanted this model over the 3500 because of the living room area. I was worried about how SUPER tight the kitchen area is (and hey, when it’s raining and you can’t grill outside and you HAVE to use your kitchen, that matters), I’m pretty sure that I want the kitchen are of the 3500 over this one. And the half bath…. Ugh! I understand there are some folks out there who would appreciate having a fold away bath. However, if you are looking to RV full-time (that’s my caveat) and use the garage for your full-time office and visitors, you want a normal half bath, no fold away sink and extra small half bath space. I think the half bath in the garage is a thumbs down. Thank you Josh! I’m still planning on speaking with the Brinkley folks to see what’s possible on future 3500’s. 😊
Great video. I like the overall layout instead of the same ole 4 in-a-row seating. I would like to see the couch simplified with less to go wrong. Also O/H cabinets above the bed and nightstands even with the King bed. I would also sacrifice garage space for an upgraded fixed 1/2 bath.
I'm curious to see where they end up with that couch. I do respect wanting less points of concern on it. They're going to have several revisions for it before it's "dialed in" from what I understand They spent 4 months waiting for existing furniture suppliers to make something. After being told they just weren't able to make it Brinkley decided to make their own
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I really love this Brinkley3950 fifth wheel toy hauler! They nailed it with this unit! The happy jack sofas in the garage area are amazing an look very comfortable. I'm glad that they give us a bath an a half. I love the living room setup awesome. All the storage they put inside an outside is amazing. I love the shower fixtures that they use. I'm glad you have different ways to heat this fifth wheel with propane or electric heat fro the three heat-pumps that are built into the Air conditioners! Plus they give us the electric fireplace space heater. I'm glad that give us one of the best sound systems that you can get! I see Brinkley have a great an long future in the RV manufacturing industry! Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this Brinkley3950 fifth wheel toy hauler an giving us all the information good or bad on it. Your number one fan an friend Leonard Nelson from North Carolina! #NERDHERD😎💪🐕🐺🐒🐈😎😁
It’s gorgeous but I have to say that I would change the half bath in the garage to what is in the G3500/4000, also the u shaped couch should be made into an L shape, it would work better with the sliding dinette, not so cramped. Brinkley makes a beautiful product and I can’t wait to see them in person at the Tampa RV show! Thank you Josh for a thorough and entertaining walk thru!
@@JoshtheRVNerd You got it! I will be at the rv show Thursday and Friday! Can’t wait to check out Brinkley in person…I have been watching every RU-vid video on every model since the beginning!
I do like this but.. what are the chances of an L-Shaped couch with reclining seats? The U seems to tighten up the area too much. Also, can the washer/dryer go in the garage and get proper venting?
Pretty awesome. BUT. I'd rather have an L shaped sofa to keep that living area more open. The U shaped sofa can fit more people than I'd ever want in my trailer anyway.
i kinda agree in that if its for my own family then L shaped is ideal but if i want to include some family members (parents and another cousins family) then yea u shaped is good
Yea, we don’t mind driving either. I’ve reached out to several dealers and I’ve only had one that has been responsive. Which location did you use? Bishs never got back to me.
@AnthonyOrtiz247 call Omaha and ask for Jacob he has been great to work with. General RV blew us off when I said I wasn't going to use our trailer as a trade and Fun Town couldn't get us a spec sheet.
Thanks for the info. That's concerning re the communication, and lack of, with dealerships. I haven't purchased one yet. Just doing research so when I'm ready, I'm prepared. People's real time experience is invaluable.
Great walk through as usual Josh. It's a great TH if you can tow it and afford it. I don't understand why Brinkley is making all these super heavy, long and expensive TH units when I'm sure a lot of us regular folk would love a 40' with the living space of a Z3100. I keep saying it, chop off the rear sofa of a Z3100 and add an 11' garage please. Something one could tow with a 1 Ton SRW. We'll never go full time but would still love to bring our Spyder and e-bikes with us.
They're getting there. Give them time. Unlike a lot of companies that crap out 9 new models at launch that later need a bunch of revisions brinkley is really taking their time to dial each one in
Love Brinkley's commitment to quality & attention to the little details. Waiting for a 4 person dinette & dual theater seat option in the living room of a Model G, as well as an outside tv option.
This thing is incredible! The living area is kinda small and crowded, but I think it works. You're not gunna be able to dance in the living area, and let's be honest, 6 people won't ever sit on that couch, but it's amazing. Heck, cut 10" out of the garage so it's just a patio and you'll have the best national park r ready 35' towable ever!
That's kinda what I like - that's whatever size you need/want it to be with that adjustable power couch You can rob peter to pay paul in your RV Or set it for couple's mode in the morning but entertain friends in the evening
Being 6’5” I would love to see to door for the wet bay swing open towards the front of the rig with the auto lvl controller mounted on the door or anywhere other then inside the wet bay
Thank you Brinkley! Thank you Josh for going over this unit so well! This toy hauler "nails it" and is amazing. It's definitely the first toy hauler I'd consider and we're not a we really need a toy hauler family. It definitely doesn't look like your sacrificing living space and comforts for a garage. I'd consider getting rid of my 2023 Montana for this.
Man I wish I would have had a 3500 tow vehicle when I got my 5th wheel. If I did I would have gotten something like this. I had a 2500 when I bought my 5th and I was limited. Now I have the 3500. This is nice.
This thing is absolutely insane. It is like they read comments for a year and made a list of every suggestion people had and tried to work them all in to a floorplan
When it's a Brinkley, I don't have to watch the video to hit like, but watching the video is so fulfilling. You got that right Josh, Brinkley is two levels above glamping.
Sloooowly the RV engineers i believe are using some yacht type interior design. 😮I wish the RV interior designers would look at motor yachts interiors, like the kitchen, bathrooms. Love the entertainment seating in this big Brinkley! The kitchen is awesome, along with refrigerator!!!! I’m a huge fan of the refrigeration, AC and the Fridge 😅 great vid Josh loved the “Plant” ref ✌🏼☮️
I'm not familiar with the state of marine decors but I may take a look Glad people are getting the references still. Sometimes you just gotta get your Led out
Just came from Tampa Rv show the rv I wanted was 299k 7.74% total with interest 556,664.....A class glamor camping is dead..............for the middle class.....
Great Job Josh and Brinkley RV!! Beautiful Rig, but we are going with the Z3400... We don't need the garage but want the rear patio plus 6 ft. shorter. Man, Brinkley found the recipe!
How do we go about getting one of these? My husband and I have been waiting and waiting for the right Brinkley. Do we go to our bank to apply for the loan, find a dealer and go thru them how do we trade our little Puma camper?
Drop our team a note at www.bishs.com/product/new-2024-brinkley-model-g-3950-2337025-26 They can guide you Or try calling someone like this guy: 402-505-2400
I currently own a sandpiper 383rblok, and have fallen in love with the 2 bathrooms with tub for washing the baby. We have been looking at toy haulers and my wife absolutely loves this, if they had the ability to remove the rear w/d prep and extend the half bath to the glass door and add a tub/shower, but keep literally everything else with living space the same, we would be placing our order today! Btw we love your content thank you for the long days you put in to bring these to us!
TY. These Model G's especially are a HUGE time investment. I spent pretty much an entire day plus doing this video I can usually record 5-7 "normal" rvs in a typical work day and edit a few more than that. ONE of these takes about 8x longer
Beautiful RV; I loved everything about it. I would change the couch to be more L shaped. Other than that it is perfect for my needs. THANK YOU BRINKLEY!! THANK YOU JOSH!!! How much will this rig cost????
Thanks for the feedback and kind words! The MSRP will be right around 206K for standard run (as seen in video). Sale pricing will be determined by your local Brinkley dealer.
"We're thrilled with this RV and its floor plan! It's great to find one that's better built. Our only desired change is the couch. I'm curious if Brinkly would allow us to customize it to an L-shaped, reclining theater couch. I plan to reach out to Brinkly through their customer service department, website, or by visiting a dealership to see if that's an option." Love this 5th wheel Toyhauler !!!
I really like what you made and it is just what I have been looking for. I would suggest that you see if you can add a Morryde full independent suspension as an option. When I order this I will be scheduling with Morryde to get it done first thing. I would preferably want to get it from you. I have seen that a couple of your competitors have started to offer is as option on some of there fithwheeis
I could see something like that happening eventually. They do provide some pretty good running gear from the factory thankfully. Between the standard mor/ryde package, cooper tires, gen y hitch, sumo springs, and ABS+Anti-Sway it could be worse!
Holy $hit Balls!!! Still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor! This rig is the bomb!! 💣🔥 I’m at a loss for words!! 🤩🤩🤯Absolutely fantastic job Brinkley!
Brother all the shiny things are there, easily the most thought out RV. It is your luxury like nothing you've ever had in your life, as you hear the competition describe their RV, just count how many times they say "optional" where this unit just has everything..... standard! Allready, Brinkley is having great positive duplication, right down to the flip down cutlery & knife compartments, seriously! Power sewer gates, and yes that extendable latter, although it's a little shakey, but by design it gives you the easy step up & down off of the walkable slide! Brinkley, you have pissed off the industry, seriously, by taking a more honest comprehensive, refreshing outlook to making a product to be proud of! Fetching a switch from the weeping willow tree, on the regular. When I was old enough to operate a chain saw, that tree produced a lot of fire wood! Josh, for anyone who has that RV blood running through their veins, this, this has been what EVERYONE has been waiting for, and before some idiot pipes up and says something broke on his Brinkley, it's not that things break, of course they do, it's what the company is willing to do to rectify the problem, again, they have thought about that too! Thank you Brother, I was looking forward to this video, and it or you did not disappoint, thank you so much! You can tell when someone loves what they're doing!!👍
They're ahead of the curve for sure and would be further ahead but literally existing RV suppliers can't do what brinkley wants in their RVs so they're starting to engineer their own stuff Like that sofa. They waited FOUR MONTHS for a supplier to make that sofa. Finally the furniture suppliers said "we just cant/wont" So Brinkley built their own and will likely do more of that
WOW! This is absolutely Amazing! The living room and kitchen are beautiful and works well together! We are not in the market for a toy hauler but we can wait till we seen one in person. Way to go Brinkley you guys have out done yourselves! Thank you uncle Josh!
Correct. I got that mixed up. I actually have a note on that subject in the pinned comment on this video THANK YOU by the way for sharing this. My goal is always to keep accurate info out there
Great video Josh. I just love how you get so excited about certain things. I still wish Brinkley would put slide windows in because those knobs if tighten too hard are very difficult to open. Also, I would prefer regular day night shades. Once those shades get kinked, they’re hard to get back to looking as good as they did when first installed
Looks like a good one. Seams very well laid out inside and out great Idea with the air compressor in the back tow compartment. Better if the skip shoe brakes and go with the disk
Beautiful ❤ I'd love this as a guest suite for my daughter & her husband. The only thing I'd change is an L-shaped sofa not the U-shaped one. Plus I'd get the diswasher & w/d.
Absolutely love this floorplan! The u-shape couch is awesome because that means two people can fully stretch out/nap and 2 or 3 others can fit in the middle. The 14ft garage is a plus for those of us with a 6 seater golf cart, dog crates and all the e-bikes :) Gonna have to save up for this one 😍
OMG, what in the name of Roland Conklin has the “The Brinkley Bunch”( works better if you sing it) done to the RV industry ? They have not only stirred up the industry, but they have turned it upside down by clearing that no one knew existed. This thing is an absolute beast. This has to be the almost perfect unit I’ve seen since we got a first 5th wheel. I say almost perfect because I’m sure Brinkley will come up with more innovated market firsts. I’m leaning more towards either the Z3100 or 3400 simply because those are more suitable for my wife, me and our schnauzer. Brinkley has not had a bad anything since we saw our first one in Columbus Oh last year. Great job on your video once again. Someone said earlier that they can tell you love what you’re doing, I don’t think anyone gets as excited as you do !!!! We’re hoping to be in Columbus again this year and hopefully order one !!!!!
I forgot to say we actually ran into Robert Plant at the Apple Store in a Nashville mall and nobody but me recognized him. He was super nice and chatted with us about 15-20 minutes. He was also taller than I thought he’d be 😂😂😂…
@@JoshtheRVNerd I love seeing the progression of the industry. Most of the designers and manufacturers were way before their time. This is an ever evolving beast from year to year if not day to day !!!! Keep doing your reveals, they’re the best way I’ve found to keep up to date myself. Thank you for what you’re doing !!!!
Wanna get nuts? Let’s get nuts. Love the Batman reference Josh! Lol, And I remember hearing about picking a switch when I was younger. Do you remember the expression you’re getting too big for your britches? Love all the information and the content as always, Josh thank you so much you’re amazing keep it up. Matt
