Plastic rules!! Aluminium is for shelf princesses! A dog ate my X-Maxx wheels! I'm not even mad! I encourage dogs to chase my RC's at the park. X-maxx is the 1st one to have tires destroyed. I should have stopped when i noticed a small tear. I didn't, so the blew out beyond repair. Still not mad though.

Nice video Kev. I am happy to see you have it set up the way you like it. I am still rocking the granite and love it. I may look at changing it to the Outcast 4s or may just pick one up.

I just got one if these from a friend and went back to watch your vids while I decide if I want to put effort into it. Already modded for an aluminum center drive shaft and fixing what my friend broke. After watching your vids... I'll keep it haha! I already have the Notorious and Talion... why not, eh?

Runs great with a DumboRC cheapo too... haven't broken anything on mine although the wing is looking pretty narly. It's still fun on 3S but I fell for a sales pitch on that front - 4S is the way to run this beast, it'll back and front flip on a whim

I have the 6s arrma outcast and it is the toughest truck I’ve ever driven I’ve beaten the crap out of it ramping it off of huge jumps and hitting trees in the air and ramping off my roof and all sorts of stupid stuff and it keeps going without problems it is ridiculously fast and stupid fun to drive

My Team magic Monstertruck is also plastic It's perfect with a new Servo and Absima radio system It backflips It jumps realy good I have it now 2 years So far so good No chassis damage, no arms break Only the axles are bad But with the upgrade perfect 👌

Kev. Wait Did you say the 6s Outcast is trash even after upgrades? Do you believe the 6s v 4 Kraron is as well? I was about to pull trigger on 6s Kraton. I jist want a durable basher rtrthat needs very little upgrades to make it durable. If not 6s Kraton what would you recommend? In the under $550 amount? Preferably 1/8 scale or big 1/10.

Kev you got some great air control of that thing, you should review the Vaterra V100 4WD, all i had to do was change the radio gear because of the delay, and change the plastic center shaft to aluminium its a great little drifter

would be cool if you could check out the traxxas 1/16 summit. its like the e revo but 1/16

The traxxas suck not because its plastic it's because when you break something you got to take the whole thing apart to get to certain parts (1/10 cars aren't bad tho). Coming from previous ownership of the E -revo, E-revo 2.0, X-Maxx 8s Green, 1/16 E-Revo, Rustler VXL, Stampede brushed, and Stampede VXL. I got rid of them all for the Kraton, Limitless, and the Losi DBXL-E, and soon a 1/10 Outcast. No hate just my expierence, great vid keep em comming.

It is indeed reducing steering rate, worth setting actually so the servo doesn't attempt too steer more when the steering on the car or whatever it is the servo is inside is in full lock & doesn't make noise but also doesn't reduce the steering angle the vehicle is capable of, A beginner tip that saves money for sure along with battery life. As it prevents the servo both from frying & eating more power then it needs when it does the same job. Throttle dualrate is perfect if you want too lend the car out too someone that is a beginner and put the speed on a fairly tame speed, like say 10 - 20% of max power on most rc cars is pretty beginner friendly if they don't do something like go into a lake on a non waterproof rc car, or smash into a wall at that speed. (Like say 35 - 40 km/h while the car is capable of 90 km/h is fairly low and beginner friendly. Going into a large rock poking out of a stone wall on a fairly badly designed plastic front bulkhead like my brushless hpi-e firestorm easily breaks it.) Or ends up driving it of a cliff because they keep the throttle pinned without reducing the speed or seeing where they are going.

Traxxas is the best brand out there I’m actually buying the $240 Traxxas slash hope it will be fun
