Circled on calendar but pussed out haha. Must be getting too old, couldn't roll my ass out of bed early enough the whole week. I was gifted with one at the bulkhead yesterday midday, not expecting anything literally just F'n around with a 6 oz white bucktail/red teaser. Canal is funny like that.

What's typically the best time to fish the canal iv been trying to get my son to catch his first striper but the last 2 times we went didn't even get a nibble I told him I'd bring him here before summers out because it looks kinda promising when it come to fishing

Is fishing the canal easy.. not the fishing part but the access, parking, ect. I see recent photos of guys elbow to elbow thinking..there's all that shoreline??
The canal is ruined by people posting videos on RU-vid. The Canal use to be a special place. Not anymore. The place is turning into a shit hole just so people can post videos and make money. Unreal
Agreed...I’ve been fishing the canal since I was 10, no one used to fish there in the 90’s.If you can convince the 300 other people posting videos to stop,I’d be happy to stop posting mine...I don’t make money off RU-vid, I actually like fishing.
