Today, I am sharing my new morning skincare routine. I've made these changes since my 70th birthday last October. I'm working on getting ready to film the changes I've made in my evening skincare and the "extra" things I do in my beauty routine.If you use a red light mask, let me know what works for you. CHANGES I'VE MADE (the last 5 months):
I no longer use "special" water. I loved IT Miracle Water (discontinued), have tried several others and didn't like them as well.
Since the Skin Deva Argireline contains Matrixyl 3000, and Hyaluronic Acid, I no longer buy those two from Timeless
I ran out of IT Bye Bye Under Eye Cream, so I started using Timeless Hydrating Eye Cream in the morning (instead of night).
I cut down my use of Timeless Vitamin C+E+Ferulic to 3 days a week, and added more Skin Deva Argireline the other 3 days a week.
Sundays, I only use Eye Cream.

Hello MaryEllen, I just turned 70 last week. 🎉 Both our sons were here. I didn't want too much attention, and having my boys here was perfect. I know what you mean about not doing as much at our age. I've had to make changes to simplify my life. It's not just the energy and strength factor. It's also being able to focus. I don't think you're really much of a slacker. 😄 Between travel, being sick with a virus and company I have to start my skincare over again. I will continue to pray for you and Jim. Mary Ellen- thank you so much for your prayers for my daughter. The Dr called, and as we knew, it was cancer and malignant. It was caught early, and nothing showed up in all the nearby lymph nodes, so no chemotherapy. She goes in to find out more details on Tuesday. We are so relieved. I feel 50 pounds lighter! I love my Omnilux too. My only complaint is how painful and uncomfortable it is on my nose. I have to pull it up off my nose, otherwise it leaves an indention on my nose. There is a new one that’s come out from iRestore that I really wanted it o try but financial constraints didn’t permit it. Have you heard of it? I’d love to be able to purchase it one day, but want to hear reviews on it first. Thank you!

Look at you, showing off your beautiful skin!! I'm sure you're also saving a ton on money on makeup because, girl you definitely don't need foundation, highlighter, or anything. Your skin is luminous! Anyhoo, I love skincare and always enjoy hearing about what you're using and yeah, I put the argireline all over because I'm hoping it will keep new wrinkles from popping up. Dear Maryellen, I really enjoy your videos. I’m 81 and I do skin care and I’m told I look very young. Good genes get a large amount of that compliment. I use the red light mask, but I’m a super slacker. Good luck to Jim. I had two back operations and it was wonderful. No pain anymore.

I don’t feel so bad now that I know there’s another skin care slacker! 😍 I do as few steps as possible because I know that skincare is important, but I really don’t love it. That’s why I don’t wear make up other than mascara, and lipstick or gloss. I lost so much weight when Arthur was sick. My total loss was 20 pounds. Good morning MaryEllen: So happy to hear that Jim’s son will be driving with you both to St. Louis. This will help take some of the worry and stress from you. An extra set of eyes and ears for the Doctor visits. My brother’s surgery has been delayed from 3-26 to sometime in May. The cardiologist was not happy with some test results. Hi MaryEllen!! Am I doing my serums all wrong, I wash my face with my Castilian soap & electrolyte water, dry lightly, then put one after the other on each night, morning slacker lol. Sometimes I put them on in the AM though. I'm so confused about the red light masks, I can't tell you. Some that are recommended don't have eye pads and ppl say they hurt around the eyes, others highly recommend the Qure one which has no eye pads, sigh, Saving, it's an eventuality as moving is more important, I owe my more than horrific apt bldg mgr/part owner of this place so much money but he will never see it. I mean who wakes up with roaches crawling on their pillows, who's gone for 2 & 1/2 years without heat, who's ceiling is falling down bc they are too cheap to put a new roof on this old bldg? -- It is heartening to know that Jim likes our comments. Today bc it's Palm Sunday I'll be reading The Donkey by G.K. Chesterton aloud to myself and Ethan when he visits. Ofc my prayers for you & Jim & Jeremy & all your loved ones will continue, health problems or no bc you are so warm, generous & loving, you will always deserve God's blessings! Your skin is glowing. I wish mine looked as good with makeup, much less bare faced. I have faithfully been using my Omnilux since mid-February. I hope I see as many benefits as you have had. I also purchased the Maysama hair comb since I have been hopeful this light therapy is the real deal. It takes so long to see results. Congratulations to the winners!!! Your face and hair definitely look better. My daughter bought the omnilux and is sharing it with me. She then generously gifted me the neck and décolleté mask because I was putting up to my neck. Now I use that one on my head. I have only been doing it for two months but I definitely notice a difference. On the days I use it I feel a plumpness in my skin and today I noticed when I wiped the outside corner of my eye that it was more open. Hello MaryEllen!💕 Tonight I watched your 04/07/2024 nighttime routine, and I’m commenting a question here because I know you can’t comment back on that one yet. Would you let me know why you switched your Tretinoin from 0.1% to 0.5% please? I just had mine filled a couple of weeks ago for the 0.1% because I am able to have a routine again, since my husband’s strength is improving as he adapted well his cancer treatments. For a year, I was just barely getting a shower and too worn out to keep up skincare routine since I doing everything for him and around the house. My skin looked bad, which made me look so much older. My prayers continue for Jim & you 🙏💕

Hi Christina. First of all, I am so happy to hear your husband's strength is improving!!! When the weather turned cold last Autumn, I decided to use the 0.05% because I was afraid my skin was going to be dry. I still have a half large tube of the 0.1%, and will use it one my face when it get a little warmer. I can only use the 0.05% on my neck, the 0.1% is a little too harsh. Hope this helps. It works for me. My weight is going down and I believe it's due to stress. Cause I'm really not trying...lol. My face can get very thin when I do. Anyway, so glad Jims son is going with next time.
