I know lawyers lie as a job, that’s the point. Satan tempts by twisting the Word, and on God’s behalf, he tests righteous and unrighteous people. God then judges if the person, Satan tempted is either good or bad.

You don't understand the role of lawyers. In court, they don't lie. They don't tell the truth. They advocate for their client presenting evidence to convince. The evidence is other people talking, documents, expert opinions on scientific findings. Lawyers are specifically barred from presenting evidence that they know it false. That dosnt always work out, and lawyers who violate that can be disciplined.

(These are all my opinions moving forward) Religion will always be stained with our human inequities. You can learn a lot from them, but you will have many places on the road where the "learning" and "growing closer to God" gets stunted by rules, traditions, etc. I am Catholic, but I don't limit my searching, worship, or studying to the parameters of the institution. Unlike a majority of Catholics I get into Scripture and some gnostic texts just to get a broader picture and understanding. To do otherwise would not honor God's command of seeking Him. I believe with all my heart, that the enemy does this to throw us off the path, no matter the religion. I am sure you won't do this (and I will pray for you in your search for a church to worship) but it is easy to give into despair when searching for a place to worship the Lord. But it doesn't have to be a place. The kingdom of heaven resides inside us as well. You can worship anywhere, anytime, and how it feels right to you....meaning it doesn't have to be at an establishment with an alter. You don't need money or shiny golden things to worship Him. Any time devoted to God is good in my experiences. Please, don't ever give into despair in this search. That's what the enemy wants. Until God answers your prayers, remain patient. I would continue to read scripture, pray, fast (if you can), and deny yourself earthly pleasures as much as possible (easier said than done) to draw closer to the Lord. You will never be perfect in your denials of self want, but do not let anyone shame you or trick you into thinking you are less than, because of a relapse or shortcomings. People love to do that. I call it "religious shaming". The Lord will answer you when the time and place is right. He has plans for you my brother in Christ. May His peace and love forever be with you. Because no matter how hard they try, no matter what they do, God will throw them into Hell one day to be tormented. @@AT78146 That is all some very eerie complicated scary hard abnormal stuff one doesn't hear every day. How do you know that you are possessed? That's not sarcasm, a very real question. How does one know they have a demon? Is possessed the right word? Do they make you do things against your will or just try to talk you into things? I have endless questions about this. @@miken8820 I wouldn't worry too much, most people who end up like this are people who got into other spiritual stuff and messed around with 'spirits'. I made the mistake of giving one verbal permission over my body. (It's a long story, but it manipulated me.) Just after that the face I saw in my mind's eye of him having a sad face turned into a smile and he said "You're f***ed". Then I felt what felt like a man made of air jump on my back and push his way into my body. After that it was like having an intruder inside my body. My thoughts, my emotions, my mental imagery, everything. It's really hard to describe what it's like to have a demon in your body. But I've mostly dealt with impulses, like another body made of air inside my body is pushing my body to do an action. This weird thing where I can't always easily tell what thoughts and emotions are mine. Sometimes I'll be angry and God will be showing me that the demons are saying the same things as I am at the same time. It's this weird sort of melding thing that happens sometimes. But I mostly have control over my body. It's just like I have several people made of air messing with my mind, emotions and pushing my body to do things that aren't right, or do prevent me from doing what is. Like getting up to get something to eat even. I think the only times I ever may have lost control was when I used to drink a lot. I started having more and more blackouts where I would apparently act very unlike myself. I even woke up (not proud of it) in bed with a woman and I was already talking with her. It was pretty surreal and still makes me uncomfortable to think about. But like I said, I made a big mistake. And I know that they are demons for a few reasons. But the main reasons are that they used to tell me things about people I had no way of knowing otherwise. And because when they first showed up and were giving me the worst of it. (Basically they showed me graphic imagery of people being k***ed and said "K*** someone" all day and night. And made my body feel like it was a good thing. This lasted for months until I decided to try and end my life, which is where God made a way through.) The Presence I now know as God showed up in it. I had had encounters with Him before, I didn't know Who He was or anything, not really. But I had always ignored Him. But in the middle of all this mess He showed me Who He was. That He was this Stillness, this Peace, this Centeredness. But that He was Beyond Powerful. Like in the middle of all the things they did to me, if they went too far He would tell them to stop, and it was over. One time it when He showed up it was like He waved His hands at a flock of birds and they fled away. It's a super long story. But He got me through that. Then He said something like this: "Focus on what is Good, focus on what is Right. Love others, do Good to others, treat them well. Do this and you will separate your thoughts and feelings, from the demon's thoughts and feelings. Because they are incapable of Love and cannot build on it's foundation. And do not become like them, endure. I will lead you to Myself one day." And four years later I was backed up and suffering so badly. I had demons in me and around me. I called out and a day or two later my friend talked to me about God. I figured it was Jesus or death. (I was afraid I might hurt somebody, so I was planning to end it if He didn't show up.) So I eventually gave my life to Jesus. At first I thought I'd failed to wait for The One Who said He'd lead me to Himself. But then I realized that I'd just given my life to Him. That's a summary of a much longer story. But it seems like they were trying to end me because of something they showed me. And that something they showed me eventually led to me realizing that every spirit apart from God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) or an Angel of God. Was only ever a demon. Basically they said that they were either going to convince me to end somebody, then I would go to prison and be tormented in there by the people they'd use to hurt me. And either die by those people, or by my own hand to make it stop. (Young skinny white boy, not the best kind of person to be in prison.) That I'd end myself to prevent that from happening. Or if I did avoid hurting anyone, that they'd break me mentally enough that no one would ever take anything I said seriously. Or that they'd break me so bad that I'd go catatonic. But they are liars and deceivers. And God decided to get me through, in spite of my lack of Faith, and willingness to follow His Will at the time. He got me through what seemed impossible. Then He continued to keep me going for the four years it took before He came for me. I always felt like I was so beyond broken and tired. Like I had nothing left in the tank to keep living. But somehow no matter how much into the red I went. I just seemed to have more energy, more motivation, more determination to draw on. Like scooping up dry sand in a bucket and pulling up sand with water in it. I used to beg for it to end, but He kept convincing me to keep going, to keep living and walking. And that He would lead me to Himself one day. I still struggle a lot, I went through a lot and still do. But He's shown me over and over again that He's Beyond me and Beyond them. I used to think I was a tough Survivor when I first found God. But then I realized more and more that I survived in spite of my repeated attempts to quit, because of Him. Now I realize that I'm just a guy who lived, and someone who has a Testimony and understanding that may one day help others. But that ultimately The Victory and The Glory all belong to God. I'm just a guy who didn't die. He's the one Who brought me through alive, in spite of my own self. Anyway I went off on a ramble again. I tend to get a bit "Let's get deep and profound" on it when I talk about this lol. But I'm realizing more and more the importance of taking this stuff and bringing it back down to earth. There are good and there a bad prosecutors, and sometimes good prosecutors can be corrupted. All we know is that the ha-satan in Job was an accuser/prosecutor doing his job, while in the Gospels the accuser was doing evil. Are they the same accusers or did Job's accuser become corrupt? We don't know since we don't have enough information.

When Jesus returns, there will be no need for the Satan (accuser) to prosecute anyone. The Great White judgement will be the final judgement and all justice will be served. He did a teaching on that very verse, John , 10:10 I believe. But you have to read the whole section, not just that verse. Talking about the thieves Jesus is referring to the Pharasee's and the Priests that are pushing for the laws.

Actually it says that he will be tormented day and night forever and the primary reason given is because he deceived the people not because of accusations. Also "the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy" satan is the thief. he wasn't cast out of heaven because of accusations but because he sought to steal God's throne.

Read your bible. Which Isreal do you think Jesus will come back to as indicated in Revelations? And didn't Paul say blindness has happened to Israel in part until the time of the Gentiles is complete? There's no other Israel apart from the one we know.

@@cryptonaut8911 There's nothing like "spiritual Isreal of today." The church is NOT Israel, but Jews are free to be part of the church. The New Testament clearly distinguishes between Israel and the church, and that God allowed Israel to shun Christ for the sake of the Gentile church. Romans 11:25 says, "For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in."

It refers to this: I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd. - John 10:16 Romans 11 talks about the Gentiles as the wild olive branch that is grafted into the olive tree. and so ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED; just as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.” - Romans 11:26

@@GhostCrowGamer my main thing is satan in the desert isn't the accuser from job because this Satan tried to get Jesus to except him as rule of this world something only Lucifer would do like trying to get him to tempt God something I don't think the accuser of God's council would do or say, sounds more like a rebellion against God!
