A clone feature is needed to facilitate blueprints, the ability to choose which PHP version to use is sadly lacking and currently my install cannot update plugins. On the upside it's extremely fast. Now I'll watch your video and see what you have to say 😊

I have good news - the plugin upgrades are fixed, and the PHP version selection is now available! As regards clone and blueprints, we may add those in the future.

@@WojciechNaruniec there still appears to be a problem with the plugin updater. In this instance I get warning messages when trying to install and activate the license in ACSS. warnings indicate problems in plugin_updater.php on line 377 and pluggable on line 1435. I can perform the same task in LocalWP no problem

The "Create Block Theme" Plugin is not available at the moment right? The option to use Google Fonts in the FSE-Editor is also gone?! 🤷🏻‍♂

I've checked it more, and it seems the Create Block Theme requires WordPress 6.5 since version 2.0.0. Please try upgrading WordPress to 6.5 or newer and it should work.

I don’t get it. It seems like a bi-directional path only with WordPress COM. How do we use this with another host - ie the ORG version of WP?

Haven't tried it, but my understanding is that you can export your site, theme, templates or whatever into a self-hosted WordPress site from Studio too. You'll have to arrange your own hosting, of course, but that's always the case!

@@DanQ Thanks for the reply. IDK how I can export unless it's Tools > Export. Getting access to a MySQL db doesn't work because it's SQLite. Even backup tools like Updraft and Duplicator fail, both from the local version of the site as well as the synced version at WP COM. I think I need to wait for this to mature a bit more.

Since I use Linux on all my computers I suspect Studio will not be available for me. I will continue to use Local. The functionality is similar so I will press on with it.

There are always all kinds of bugs in the template. I have studied for a week and can not solve them completely. 3. All kinds of plugins are paid, and the free ones are not good to use.
