Gotta have one. You are the very first fishing channel I ever subscribed to, and still the best. Merry Christmas and a Happy & Blessed New Year to you and your family, Matt. God Bless
Love the decal! Future shirt suggestion: that exact same decal on the back, but on the front left hand side a “NDYakAngler.” Would be beautiful. Will definitely grab on of these though!
Love the channel Matt and what a cool shirt design. Just bought one of each to support the cause and will be rocking out here in MD. Happy Thanksgiving and good luck hanging in there until the ice fishing can start!
Nice! I like your fishing rod rack in your shop. I did that with my rods not that long ago and I love it. They are no longer on the floor and in the way. Neat and organized!
Thanks! I mounted the rod racks on some stained and finished strips of poplar and put them up just high enough that I could fit my milk crates under them.
I wanted to get the floor cleaned out in there in case I wanted to pop up my ice shacks in there and do a quick comparison video. First snow fall we get it will be a sloppy mess lol.
😂 of course your garage is spotless. Exactly as I expected! Excellent shirt. I’ll wear one proudly! I agree that the sunset logo would be awesome on a Tee.
Thanks! I just cleaned it up in there the other day, figured I might want a spot to pop up my ice shacks and make sure they’re good to go so I wanted to get the dirt and leaves off the floor.
It occurred to me, seeing some of your lures hanging on the shelf, that sometime you might show some of the more off-the-wall lures your viewers send in. I know of one for sure that you got in October...
That was one of the first things we did last October when we got our house! It was warm enough for about a week so we decided to do it ourselves before we got everything moved in. I wasn’t sure how it would hold up but we didn’t drive on it for about a month after we put the epoxy down and so far it hasn’t peeled or bubbled off anywhere.
@@ndyakangler prep is so vital. We grind off the surface (1/8th inch or so into the concrete). This allows the epoxy to seep into the concrete before it sets up, creating a permanent bond.
I totally enjoy your videos and will be purchasing some of the new merchandise for Xmas gifts. However .. I went spelunking through the comments to see if any of your followers from North of the border had any issues with the pronunciation of "achigan"😂. Maybe we French swiped the word from the American mid-west indigenous people (that would be a first) but "a-chee-gun" is pronounced "ash-e-gan" in my corner of the smallmouth world. How much does it really matter .. squat. I'm still trying to convince my local sports store to stock some of your tried/true baits. Vive la différence mon ami.
I bet you could eat off that garage floor. I like that you have like 4 red head spooks on deck never know when your gonna need another. I do the same thing if its a lure that works. I have brand new cranbaits in the package from 3 years ago ive never used. Addicted? Yes
A thought .. UV protection is a concern for those of your followers who may want more protection from those dang solar rays. Cotton is great for wicking the perspiration generated by wrestling Smallmouth but a product with better UV protection would make my dermatologist happy (well maybe not, he has a mortgage) .. just a thought.
Lets go dude! Shirts looks sick! Pumped you're doing this....quick story below I hope you read. I planned and went on a fishing trip almost 2 years ago in VT and then caught your channel with the crew and been watching you since Matt. I have learned so much just from watching you and been obsessively slaying since. Kayak fishing has become a staple in our group. We have another VT trip planned for the smallies this summer and then Minnesota boundary waters trip is next! (i have watched the boundary waters videos 100s of times lol) My kayak is almost set up, youtube channel being worked on and plan to start something similar. Hopefully when I get that running we can connect more. You inspired me brother, on so many levels of the crazy fast pace world we are in now. So much more to say on this but hopefully leave it for a day we fish together! Would be so sick to fish and slay it with your bro. I'm coming to MN soon! TTFN. Andy Ventresca CT
That’s awesome! I’d really like to get back up to the boundary waters, maybe start making it a yearly trip. It’s been tough the past couple years getting away more than a day at a time having a now 2 year old daughter at home but I think by next summer she’ll be ready to come with on some fishing trips!
@ndyakangler yeah Matt highly recommend making it and planning a yearly trip. Dying to get on lake mile lacs too! I’m w/ you, a 6, 3, & 1 yr old, only getting out for hours here or there sparked the trips for me. You gotta negotiate that one for sure bud! Countdown to summer begins now! Wish I could make mn work this summer but staying in New England this year. Ever come northeast to fish? VT is my fav for the smallies and camping. We have a legendary lake in CT for smallies too, candlewood lake, and the housatonic river has some wildly huge tiger muskies. You’re always invited friend!
I just ordered an Xtra large, black t shirt - love that bass, kayaks, and watching your videos! Don’t tell anybody but I love smallies too, been letting them go for 8 years from my hobie outback kayak! Love your videos! Have you been thinking about bfs or bait finesse?
Thank you! It’s tough to beat a day chasing smallies! I’ve thought about a bfs setup but I don’t usually throw anything much lighter than a plastic on a 1/8oz jig and my Daiwa Zillion handles that fine. I might still consider something for panfish though.
Thanks for the reply, I have several medium light poles, they seem almost too light, but just a great feeling fighting 4 to 5 pound smallies with really light gear! Let’s us know how you like the hobie after you’ve used it for a while?
I want one since you opened my eyes for kayak fishing (duck lure monster pike video) and it is now my main passion, can shipping be arranged to Sweden ?
You know they actually sent me a couple misprints that had a small logo on the front and the big logo on the back. I'm not sure how many of those they have but it might be worth contacting them and asking about if you're interested in one, you might possibly be in luck.
A little early for an April Fools joke. Looks like Macho Man and a bass with some deformity on its face.... oh.... you'd do best find a new designer. Keep it simple they say.
