Catfish eat anything darn near. They’re like sharks 🦈 “Eat anything” except the horrendous jaws / teeth. My friend and I fished for catfish in 2022 with fresh chicken liver and caught catfish WE THEN LET THE CHICKEN LIVER ROT A COUPLE DAYS -AND CATFISH STILL ATE THEM! 😖 After I seen that I was like: “Yeah… they ate that… that was gross……… it may be the time where I DEFINITELY not eat anymore catfish. Kinda like the old saying: “You are what you eat.”

I'll be fishing Lake Minnetonka and surrounding area in early July. What's the musky/pike bite like that time of year? I'm in Texas so never get to fish for them
Dude that cast under that overhang I literally said, “that’s it. That’s going to be a fish” and sure enough when you mentioned watching a fish come up and smash it, I saw the silhouette and knew.
The pike and smallmouth have been crushing the big (also small)top water ploppers at my local Lock(spillway) ..the other night I caught over 20 smallmouth-12 over 3 pounds a couple 4 pounders and a few real decent pike around 30”+ the biggest being 41.25”
The opening shots alone of this video had me; I envy every moment you spend in such gorgeous waters, fish or no fish...!!! Yet another masterpiece from the Bob Ross of Fishing. 😎
