The Yotes weren’t poached. They were leaving sooner or later. The NHL and Muriello are squarely to blame for the failure of this team. Every aspect of this team was botched in the last few years. They have lost the majority of support in Arizona beyond their dedicated fans. When you have so many people pissed at this team, they can’t survive. The drumbeat is already sounding about the proposed theme park district. Without it, Muriello can’t fully pay for the arena. End of the Coyotes return.
Why do people think utah "stole or poached" the team when the yotes didn't even have a home arena for years and the league paid 1 billion dollars of the deal to help get rid of the yotes in phoenix?
When you're a Coyotes fan it's like watching your ex wife being wooed by another. I will say that as a once Whaler's fan I thought Carolina handled it classy with no in your face daily as this.
