Great review as always. I wore the original Hacivat today and truly enjoyed it. Think that I’ll stick with my beloved original. BUT I definitely need that Mana in my life.

I’ve ordered my sample directly from their website, along with the original to compare them. I’m from Europe so it wasn’t too hard to get the shipping handled. I smell a *massive* difference. The original is fresh, clean, green, fruity. The Oud Version is dirty, intense, medicinal. Along with the incense, it almost turns into a boozy liquorice note. I really enjoy it, but I know it’s a fragrance I wouldn’t get many compliments for. It’s for lovers of oud. I‘ve put it on my wishlist, but that price is very steep. Quality is there, but I’ll still have to wait for it to come down.

For someone who doesn’t own Hacivat. Which of the 3 should I get OG, X, or oud hacivat?

As Don Delillo said in his prize winning novel Cosmopolis (made into a film) the most defining feature of a $20 M home is that it cost $20 M, not its designer, location, or previous owners. It seems Nishane wanted a super expensive fragrance with no defining features except for its price. I am not being sarcastic, sadly, because I recently spoke to a CEO of a high end stereo company who said they would sell more of a certain model of speakers if it was $100 K than $20 K. This is because most people can't afford either, but those who can 'think' the more expensive option is better. Hence a $100K speaker sells better than a $20 K speaker. Call it the Roja PDLN effect!

The fact you can get Hacivat 100ml for $130 theres absolutely no justification in spending $650 for an oud flanker that doesn't smell like Oud. I'm really shocked this is the direction they went considering Mana is so phenomenal. They shoulda put the same oud in here and it would have been magic. Im seeing retail marked at $650 right now

Maybe they used the oud to give it some more oomph. Maybe this is there hacivat intense without using that over done word 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hey Bud.. i think u got x 100%...I got Hacivat Oud..When u spray it..there is no similarities in the opening. Its very greasy ouddy. As this starts drying it gets more Ouddy Greasy. But there is NO similarities between them. I like the oud. Its not for everyone.

Shame..Nishane could have done something great..i really wanted this as i wanted that oud...and expected pineapple and oud..and i havent heard any Love for this..
