Issue is fleet orders, most fleet orders need auto transmissions so it isn't worth it to mass produce manuals for an increasingly niche enthusiast market.
The retro look really brings out the lines of the Frontier. It looks awesome! The vintage details are tastefully done and make the truck look unique and rugged.
I owned a 1989 Nissan Hardbody regular cab short bed with the old school Z24 engine and 5 speed manual transmission. No bells or whistles on it and I loved that little truck. That is what Nissan should go back to cause you don’t get much simpler than that.
I don't know about in the US but here in Canada this model is not worth it; too much money for the equipment you get ( especially compared to the Pro4X)
Good that you mention Invasion USA, it's a truly incredible film (it does have standard '80s action cliches but god, Richard Lynch plays the most ruthless villain you can imagine, some truly unnerving violence in some parts). Absolutely worth seeing. As for the truck, I will vouch for the Frontier. I don't yet own one, only test drove it, but it had good handling and offers plenty of capability (assuming you don't need the highest levels of power, it is still a midsize). A Hardbody isn't for me since it vastly exceeds my needs, but if anybody is looking at midsize trucks and either dislikes turbo engines or is fine with not having best-in-class towing or payload, the Frontier is a very good choice. Oh, and I happened to find my old 2013 Sentra spare key last night. No real sense keeping it but I loved that car and it won't cost me anything to hold onto it, so for now it's staying for the nostalgia.
good day Ben so after watching you videos over the last couple years i enjoy them and took your advice when i asked witch mid-size truck you would choose and got the 2024 Nissan pro 4xa couple months ago trading in my Ram saving me over $100 a month payment and enjoy it I added the 3D rear sticker inserts and front plus added the raptor light and in process of adding a roll/sports bar thanks and keep up the videos
Yep...a lot of vehicles have become phones on wheels. Shame. I'd say this or the Ranger are best new midsized trucks. But personally I just can't get used to the lack of space with the midsizers
Bought the 22' SV 4×4 w/55k miles and I have to say...I really dont like it. Nissan really needs some quality control on these truck because they have dumb electrical issuses like infotainment staying off, speakers not working right, and just an overall dated software. I thought the hydraulic power steering wouldnt make much difference from eletric, but it does in a bad way. The truck has bad handling, so when I hit a pothole on the highway my whole wheel turns into the next lane. Keeps me on my toes I guess. Not a problem yet, but whats starting to worry me is the transmission. The thing I thought Id never have to worry about with Nissan. First and second gear give me weird behavior, i cant really explain yet. All of these things would be okay if the truck (SV 4×4) cost no more than 32k because its not better (tech & features) nor much bigger (cab size & height of truck) than a Ford Maverick. Live and you learn I guess. I cant wait until I hit 200k miles with this truck so I can get a better one though.
