I wish olaplex would come out with an actual leave in conditioner spray and a dry shampoo. However I just purchased the moroccan oil dry shampoo and Its amazing I absolutely love it. Phenomenal oil absorption great volume without any product feel and zero itchy scalp. Im thrilled to have found it.

I love Olaplex! I use their whole line. I have already purchased this product and love it! I know you said you have really hard water, and wasn’t sure if you have heard about this new line of products from Pravana. It’s called Purify Revive. It will remove mineral build up. Abbey great video. I was very happy last week when I heard that Olaplex was bringing out a moisturising hair mask. That is a product that I also thought was greatly needed. However after hearing that it is only 100ml. I'm like no, sorry. I need a bigger tub, bottle, pump etc. I will always use no 3 going forward it works great!!!! I'm not committed to a high end hair mask with so little product.

Hi Abbey! Love your content 😍 As a biochemist I just wanted to highlight that there is no research supporting that if you add amino acids it will lead to increased translation (protein synthesis) and “repair”. Often amino acids are marketed as such and there is unfortunately no evidence to support that.

It substitutes for conditioner as well! So you don’t need to condition but you definitely can your preference ☺️ and before to answer your question

So far so good, the texture is really rich and creamy and smells similar thé thé redken acidic bond range I have similar length and fine texture to you and could have just used 2 pumps but I used 3 and my hair loved it. I have it and used as directed. My hair tools great, but I felt the need to use my regular conditioner My hair does look great, blessed with it. I use Amika normally, maybe it's just habit. Tomorrow is wash day. Let's see how it feels.

Thanks for all the information. I just won Olaplex 4,5 and 8 in a beauty raffle, and received it in the mail today. Now I want to get 0 and 3 so I can use it together. I am brunette, but my hairdresser does heavy blonde foils on me every 8 weeks. My plus I use heat tools, so my hair is quite damaged. I just recently cut three inches off because it was looking so unhealthy. I appreciate your videos about Olaplex because my hairdresser recommended it, but I didn't really understand how to use it all. Thanks. Liked and subscribed.

Thank you so much Abby. I got a sample as my birthday gift from Ulta. The print is so small on the tube that this is really helping It sounds like I will have to trade off between this and my purple conditioner. If I don’t use the purple conditioner, my hair starts looking yellow and old. I’m a senior.

How are you working into your weekly routine? I do the same thing as you. I apply oils the night before, apply olapex 2 and a hair mask in the AM and let it sit for 30 mins before double cleansing. I’m concerned about over protein-izing my hair and causing breakage. I know you have struggled with this recently. is once a week too much?

Thanx, loving O products. So how long would you leave on 0 before adding 3 and then how long before adding 8? And now for a Deb Downer comment, all the cone products (silicone, dimethicone, etc) are implicated in breast cancer tissue diagnosis. That is scary and I have avoided them, was so disheartened to find #1 ingredient on the bonding oil #7. which I don't even like anyway, too greasy for my fine hair, same as #6.

I believe that every step higher on the olaplex list contains less of the active bond building ingredient, 1 contains the most, 2 bit less and so on. So i think that nr3 contains more of the active ingredient than nr8, which makes them best when compared :)
