Well hey now, the sims 3 did look a bit off but aside from that the gameplay was The most best out of them all. So hopefully it will be the same for this sim game
i really don't like the looks of it. at all. I know it'll look rough since it isn't even in early access yet, but it just doesn't look like anything special. Might be the roughness of it, or that the art style in general just doesn't mesh with me, i dunno. the amount of customization seems like it'll be nice, but overall I'm thinking it's not a game I'll worry about picking up for a couple years once it fully releases. hopefully anybody that does play it has fun though.
yah so the decided art direction is no art direction, “for modding”. hopefully they change their mind about that bc it’s gonna be real hard to stay immersed when custom content has nothing to base itself off
I'm gonna try it out but over the years since they announced it, it has NOT gotten prettier. It's one of the ugliest games i've ever seen. It has basically no style or art direction whatsoever and the animations are extremely stiff and robotic. The world looks almost entirely devoid of decoration. Say what you will about The Sims 4, but that game looks beautiful.
The sims got too big headed they thought since they are King nobody will challenge them but the Knight always trumps the king this is basically chess ♟️
not really. It's a life simulation game made by the director of The Sims 2 and 3, published by a studio with very similar tactics to EA's when it comes to monetization. Not to mention, all the Sims influencers talking about it. The comparisons are completely inevitable and you can't blame people for comparing them.
