Me thinking about a story plot for hours, after hours I decide to make the main characters, build their house, then I realize I wanted to make the other characters so I make them, and THEN I realize they can’t live on the street so I build their home too, and I completely close the game and not gonna play with the Sims 4 for at least 2 weeks, and then I make a whole another household and everything starts from the beginning again. When I was playing the sims 3 a few years ago, one of my couples got stuck woohooing. Like the game didn’t crash, I could still play as their daughter and the grandmother but the parents were just woohooing for like 3 days straight. They eventually fixed themselves and stopped woohooing but the bed was surrounded by pee puddles and the father immediately died after from starvation. Not sure how the mother survived but she somehow did.

I think my favorite sims moment in my own gameplay was during a legacy challenge. I noticed my previous heir (Adult) and her husband (Elder) were starting to take a dip in their relationship. But I didn't really care all that much about them by that point, they had accomplished everything I wanted them to do, so I had moved on to my current heirs life. So I just queued up a bunch of woohoos for them.... Yeah I mentioned he was an elder right? I had forgotten that overexcersion was a thing, so imagine my surprise when I get the message he's dying. Best part was that she got a negative moodlet both for his death and for him being unsatisfactory at woohooing. Just like a man to die and leave you hanging, am I right ladies? Lol

That dude pretending to be a sim cooking was hilarious.

i’m definitely a generational player. i love having kids and watching them grow. the little sleepovers and holidays are always so fulfilling.

I find it helps to make one sim in a starter home and then goals like family, a nice home are things you’ll want to work towards through playing. I also add some families nearby for some lore.

ive been playing at least 30+ hours a week, I legitimately think I'm addicted to sims after hearing so many people just play a few hours and are done 😂

I spend about an hour in CAS Then alot more in build mode Then I decorate the rooms and play maybe a little just to enjoy the cc Then I go back to building weird houses, strip clubs, hostels and never fully finishing the furnishings. You know The usual

I finally have been playing with one family. I used to do exactly what Sasha does, making new families constantly. But now I’m on the third generation of one family and it’s going pretty well

When I played The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 I played through so many generations. Now (in The Sims 4) I spend hours on making the family and building a house and then I close the the game. Sometimes I play in the live mode but I never passed through getting married.

I play the sims by making a family, download a house from the gallery and then I play until I loose my mind with the CHILDREN- 😭

My usual cycle is to get a new pack, play that pack, continue the one sims family of mine that branches out into each pack, maybe hop to my alpha CC save, and right now I started the Not So Berry Challenge so I also decide to try out new challenges when the game gets stale.

How I play The Sims 4: 1) going into CAS and realising I don't have a good watch 2) accidentally goes on a CC binge for hours 3) finally plays the game, makes a sim, makes a house and starts playing 4) hyperfixates on the game for 5 weeks straight 5) abandon it for 4 months

I play a family until my pc randomly boms out and won't go back to my current family... Then I make a new one and the cycle continues.

I used to play the sims during every waking hour of my life, but then I turned 15 and it's been 6 years since I've really played for more than like...a total of two week out of the entire year. Sometimes I get a huge urge to build a cool idea in my head and stop halfway through. Sometimes I just want to make sims. What I normally do, when playing The Sims is that I create myself and some friends I create the house and I do a lot of things with them from making them all supernatural creatures like Vampires, Mermaids or Wizards I play with them like for 2 to 3 weeks straight Everytime I have free time like getting them jobs, going on dates with other Sims and all that, after those 2 or 3 weeks I close the game for like 3 months and when I open it again I move the characters to another house in another world and repeat the cycle XD

Yesterday, I was playing the sims 4, and one of my sims was surprised that his daughter was an alien. He was fine with marrying an alien, having an alien parent, and even being half-alien himself. But having a daughter that is an alien just crosses the line apparently.

You know what's my secret? I make REAL people. I made 4 of my friends and I'm very invested. So now, I'm on the 3rd generation for each family and now I'm combining them all. The family tree is insane. And everyone gets a different job and lives in a different world. It's really cool, I've never played it like that before but now I'm in year 3 of doing it that way.

when i was a kid playing sims 2 i asked my mum what woohoo meant (even thought i had a pretty good idea)and instead of telling me she took my sims 2 disk and snapped it. she ended up buying it for me again because she felt bad but looking back she really overreacted
