New options on the Lone Star Grillz Pellet Smokers 

Great video. I love that LSG chose the FireBoard controller. FireBoard is widely considered the best in the industry. Updates can be done through wifi and it allows you to upgrade your controller with new features at no extra cost to the consumer. I would love to see a video on cold smoking and another on using the charcoal insert and how the controller can be used to monitor cook when using charcoal.

The longer the Cook, the more accurate the Analytics are. Helpful to adjust your temp to. Manual mode rocks the direct grilling!

What is the common percentage people are using for direct grilling? And is everyone else having to dump out ash tray after every session? Not that it’s a big deal just sometimes when I use it multiple times a day I wish I didn’t have the clean the ash tray each time. Love the smoker. The flavor is amazing and well beyond any pellet smoker I’ve tasted.

I was wondering what Fireboard model comes with the LSG pellet smoker? If Fireboard comes out with a new model, will the new model be included? Do we have the ability to replace the Fireboard that is already attached to the smoked?

Charcoal basket option: I can't find anything online about this feature. Presumably it's just for leaving your unit off and cooking with charcoal. Is that right? Could you (optionally) throw some wood chunks in there and then fire up your pellet grill for 'extra smoke' (like I do with my Traeger accessory) or would the pellet grill 'guns' be removed when that option is installed??

Is the damper on the stack there just to keep rain out if you don't have a cover? I can't see it being used like on an off-set smoker to dampen down the air flow and fire. Thanks.

Hi, I just ordered my LSG Pellet Grill a couple weeks ago. Love the new options. Once I receive my grill will I need to do a firmware update on the fireboard?

Would you be able to replace a kamado style cooker with this? My main issue is cooking steaks and chickens direct. If this can do it- don’t see any reason not to switch
