certainly can't accuse the man of following the crowd. to me the speaker looks like a high end store display for selling raw drivers . no problem for me, if it works, that's my overriding goal. I am always interested in the products from other manufacturers, that are selected to help sell the featured room's product.
These look so classic. Def outta this world in terms of style. Another cool thing in terms of price to performance is when he finds the sweet spot he only changes if makes sense. First class.
John had an excellent sounding room! He has his lane and its awesome. There were a lot of mid-fi rooms with big, boomy sound playing the hackneyed tracks we all know. I also really loved the AudioNote room, also equally awesome speakers! Way to go John great work...in my top 10 rooms, always great sound!
Just beautiful. John I have always been an admirer of your georgious work and your knowledge, I follow all your youtube posts. Thank you for your contributions to the audio world we all love and enjoy. Monkehaus, the ultimate mancave.....lol
It's actually VERY good for the sound. It gives baffle support to the woofer and aids in integration within the passband. BBC did lots of science on this, as did Newell & Holland.
@@richardelliott8352 It's research that underpins literally every speaker in existence today. An extension of Thiele/Small, if you will. SO, I don't know and it doesn't matter. Toole did all of his research without a super computer.
