New order were a huge part of my teenage years back in the 80’s. Now they and I are older, I’m 50 😳 I don’t care that I’m old and they look like a bunch of secondary school teachers. They sound just as amazing as they did, and I still get that tingle listening to their fantastic music. This one is my absolute favourite track. Great music never dies.
I in contrary started with both of them in 1986 and in the future with all their sideprojects which the majority was worth it but 2nd class with exceptions though. When there was 4 with ian or later 4 with gillian made marvels of sound.
This is one of my most favorite song from new order among many others, although I was born and grew up in the Domincan Republic l listened to them in my younger years
Their performance of it in Japan, Pumped Full of Drugs, will always be my favourite, this is a pretty good remix of it though, agree it's missing iconic Hooky bass though
Subculture, an electric storm strikes to my brain. New Order, the last concert before the virus, June 2019, in Athens. So, we wait for this New Order dvd, it will give us a perfect kiss!
I had tickets to see New Order and PSB with all my friends this year, we were gonna road trip from college and see them :( for me OMD last concert before the pandemic. September 2019 in Cincinnati.
@@SaabSurpemacy New Order and PSB in the same night? That would be awesome, but I wish you'll have another chance when this virus thing is over. Greetings from Greece! I only wonder who would be the opening/support(?!), and who the second, the main name of the night. As for OMD, Andy has a bigger audience in the States than in Europe.
@@antonioskoutsoyiannis5319 I hope we can all get back to some good shows once this is all over! Until then I’m living vicariously through my records and CDs haha. Cheers, from Kansas USA.
@@SaabSurpemacy We all do. We just wait for the bands and the record companies to get out from their closet the material we do know that they have. Greetings from Thessaloniki/Kavala, Greece!
It was a fantastic night fella, I honestly couldn't believe it, they sounded absolutely on top of there game but the actual buzz and atmosphere in the gig was as cool as it gets, the fans are legendary
Yeah. These words are like my life these days. Listened them since 1995. I've been a loner, and also so in love and so on... now I'm over 40 and do exactly what I want... But that hurt a little bit... because again I wish I could have cool woman with me... when walkimg in those forests and parks. And I live center of the city. And I paint or play in the dark. There or here, home.
It always pleases me when New Order digs a track out that they haven't played in ages. A band with a catalog so deep and rich, it's nice to see them dust off an under-appreciated classic like 'Subculture' and in an extended version, no less. Hope this COVID thing goes away in time for me to see them next year.
Sin duda para mí la mejor canción de NO, despierta un movimiento en mis neuronas que no sé de dónde sale. Depeche Mode y New Order son gran parte de mi banda sonora en la vida, saludos from Spain !!!
Yes. I've had these all versions available + over 12 bootleg where's Sub-Culture. It never hit me like this. ...like a knife. And this is so great... truelly. I got very emotional. Sounds are so fucking great and Barney almost stay there where notes goes :) Brilliant.
Well, 2016. I waited 20 years to see them alive. And I was there with my true love. I payed that (fest but we went there only to see NO) 90min gig 220€ but I'll never forgot what we saw. We were front of Gillian. That tent took about 15 000 people... And I took jyst a few pics but I secretly recorder that gig. I had no smarphone back then. Nokia 215 :)
Saw them for the first time in Toronto 2022. This song blew me away live and will never forget it (hadn't explored the Live albums yet). This was not a highlight from Low-Life for me but hearing a live, new mix just made me love it.
Legends 🤍 it’s amazing, Bernard isn’t the strongest singer by any stretch, but this was probably his best live performance of Sub-culture I’ve seen by far 👌 Absolutely love this revised version 🙌
new order ...to me are the best electronic band ever . the evolution from joy division into new order in the 1980s as a teenager growing up then I found their music their album artwork everything manchester about them fascinating and as a 55 year old now they still have the same affect on me .
YALL are evolving with the time!!, I lost my beloved 94 and y’all keep me going because he reminds me of you. Or you remind me of him , whatever! I miss him. Mark Joeseph Kunzer…. Me n you… glue
I've made it my goal to see New Order live before I turn 30 in a couple of years. They've been a HUGE part of my adolescence and early adulthood and I just *have* to see Manchesters Finest in concert. Wish hooky would come back but I understand there's gallons of bad blood between him and barney
My favorite N.O. song. Nevertheless, If I could suggest somethig to the band that I adore, is that the bass at the end (EPIC, and the higher point of the music) could be louder, free, as in the old times.
That was a point of contention between Hooky and Barney. Hooky wanted more bass and Barney wanted less what is why Tom plays softer. Barney is the boss.
New order es un grupo inglés clásico .hacen unas mezclas extraordinarias de sintetizadores .diría espectacular gracias por hacer una buena música de new wave
that was a freezing night we were queueing for ages in cold air. But oh boy I trade anything for experiencing that night again, instead of this lockdown shit.
Surely we will have a night like it in Manchester September. Even these bungling idiotic Tories can't mess the vaccine roll out like they have f.....d everything else up.
