Atlanta sounds more southern and refined, NOLA has that distinct Caribbean rhythm. I’m South American but I had a friend from Macon GA who talked like the ATL dudes, loved his accent!
Bellard I'm with you Dawg' New Orleans has a unique perspective Accent that's not NEW it's goes back Generations" as far as Accents goes It's about there Culture" Louisiana Lifestyle and differences that sets Them apart' and makes more fascinating....
Miami and New Orleans sounds nearly the same, I'm from New Orleans and lived in Miami for many years and noticed that we have a common bond, especially with the Haitians and people from the Bahamas.
I guarantee 💯 Louisiana Ganges are More bounded together as Louisiana' Black Heritages that's been handed down through generations with That COOL ACCENT.....
I would say Massachusetts and Louisiana have the two most strongest accents in America. It no question about where they from when they open their mouth.
I’m from mobile, Alabama born and raised been going to New Orleans, Louisiana since I was a kid, mobile is right next to Biloxi Mississippi, Pensacola, Florida, and also 2 hrs from New Orleans I’m from the south but everytime time I go to the N.O. I get jealous of their accents lol
im from Birmingham Al. We sound very similar to Atlanta. If you go into certain counties deep in Alabama like Selma and hear the elders talk, they sound like they speaking a whole nother language
@@lunarballoonistxoA mix French and different Africans accent but what is funny that their tone really sounds like some people from Cameroon(French speaking part) after the acquired the us accent
New Orleans accent is so unique. As a New Yorker, I love it. Is it just me who thinks the N.O accent sounds way less southern? This comparison with Atlanta proves it-Atlanta sounds more southern while New Orleans sounds less southern. I can’t even explain it. New Orleans accent is so cool
@@skylewis7656 I’ll be in NYC in March. I love the y’all rap scene and accents as well. I’m trying to cop me a Remy Ma type of chick when I visit. Lol, even the female’s are aggressive, but I love it.
The New Orleans accent is harder to understand. The Atlanta accent sounds a tad bit more literate like they had some education. The people in New Orleans sound like the most education they got was 2nd grade
i from 7 ward so its not that hard for me to understand but I guess I can see where you comin from. was they any words you aint understand cuz i can clear it up
@@7emy255 haha I'm from a tiny town in Iowa, almost the complete opposite place. I understood the vast majority of it, mostly just accent differences making it sound mumbly. I grew up speaking super standard English so when I moved to Alabama a year ago it was a huge change.. I had maybe talked to three black people in my first 18 years of life. Definitely have learned a lot
@@hfdcjiirjmcfi peoples in new orleans speak different from eachother while also maintainin that nola accent yeard me like some will have some real strong accent while anotha gon have a very light one. there are different kinds of accents in new orleans so many to even count. And sometimes its just how you talk. if you ever come here youll see a variety of all different kinds of people.
Forget the accents I know yah heard the man say "they blowed it up" 3:50 It doesn't surprise me...gov also drowned a black city in Georgia and created Lake Lanier
I’m from Nola and your assumption is absolutely correct. Lol I’ve traveled all around this country and literally no one ever assumed I was from Nola let alone the south. The broken English is definitely an indication of very little education and intelligence.
@@AsheKardashe9 Seems to me that just 'cause you don't talk like that, you use it as a reason to convince yourself that you're a better human being. There's a lot of people who do talk like that, who are waaaay more educated and intelligent than you.
I hate the fact that the AA people in my city projects so much unnecessary ignorance and lack of education. It’s embarrassing to say the absolute least. I hate it here! 😩🤦🏾♀️😒
