I still have the ticket stubs from my parents when they went. I still remember before they left they were dressed in Nothing but Black and Gold. I love these kind!!
If NO only had a legit QB. With the Dome Patrol of Sam, Rickey, Vaughn and Swilling they should have been in a SB. Btw SF recovered like Champs and won their last 6 games but missed the playoffs as NO, SF and ATL all finished 10-6 after this game. I’m a Falcon fan and we swept the 49’ers came to the Dome and beat NO in the 91 wildcard playoffs with Michael Haynes scoring the fastest TD ever. Then the next week Washington put 56 on us in the rain and sent us MC Hammer and Travis Tritt back home.
My father was a firefighter that was called to this game because of the fire. I don’t see him as he got to the fire after it was put out due to not being let on the field by the police as they didn’t want to stop the game. Is there a way I can find other footage that shows the field during the fire? I would appreciate any help.
