Glanville was a lot of fun.

Funny how at the end on the interception with the laterals that Michaels called it stupid. But it wasn’t as stupid as Hebert’s throw.

In 1991, Mike Kenn #78 of the Atlanta Falcons shut down the NFL's top sacker and Defensive Player of the Year Pat Swilling, who did not register a sack when facing Kenn. His pass blocking allowed the Falcons to set a team record by giving up only 31 sacks in 531 passing attempts. Kenn only gave up one. He was voted first-team All-Pro by the Associated Press.

And yet didn't make the Pro Bowl, man even in 1991 the Pro Bowl selection process was flawed as heck

Yawn . Same year, redskins only gave 9 sacks. For the entire season. And 3 of those came in the last game when they played backups.

To date, this is the only postseason meeting between the two deep south rivals.

So strange to see rookie Brett Farv on the sidelines as a Falcon back-up....

Maga was calling the end if the game interception lol. Football was entertaining as hell in that era. Some people back then wanted it stuck in the 1960s

1:01:17 - was a fumble... Its calls like this that make people question if the NFL is fixed or not. Obviously the single play that changed the game.

The Raiders were still in L.A. at that time. They moved back to Oakland in 1995. I mean at least they have Ice Cube to support them. He’s a bigger football fan than Hammer. Ice Cube >>>>> MC Hammer

You know its sad how under Head coach Jim MoraSr.how he never gave Hebert any real deep threat at wideout the Cajun Cannon had no Rison or Haynes on his side of the ball the run game struggled in this game Iron Head could only do so much Hilliard hurt his hand McAfee kept fumbling and the Saints Defense was out on field way too often and who thought it was a good idea to put Milton Mack on Micheal Haynes one on one with no safety help bonehead call by Steve Sidwell who im sure was the Defensive Coordinator at this time The Saints just wasn't good enough to win in the playoffs under Jim MoraSr plain and simple.

There's an interview you can find online with Bobby Hebert where he says the Saints had a deal in place to acquire Anthony Carter from the Vikings in 1990 but that then-GM Jim Finks nixed it because he didn't want to be seen as paying out that level of money. Carter would have been the deep threat these Saints teams could have used.

Hebert had the arm , super quick release , anticipation of routes and great touch and was a great deep ball thrower and not only was the play calling super conservative they had absolutely no deep speed , once in awhile they got guys kind of with speed but not any great receiver with jets who could run routes . If they had got Hebert a real deep threat and stretch filed Hebert and Saints would have won a few Super Bowls .

Jerry Glanville, very underrated coach. Not just as a head coach either. He has gotten an awful lot out of their players compared to their talent level. A bit of a clown but I liked him.

Different personnel than Glanville's first time around in Atlanta late 70s to early 80s, when he coached the Grits Blitz guys, but exact same style and the exact same aggressive mentality. Always putting on a big rush, ruining a QB's timing and bunches of them always in on a tackle. The Redskins' "Hogs" would prove to be too much for them, though.
