I prepared this recipe yrs ago. Being from San Diego I was inspired from the Charger, Junior Seau’s, restaurant in Mission Valley 🤗 it’s always a hit when I prepared this recipe.

Hi Charlie I just made this potato salad with shrimp today and had to sneak a couple of bites in. Absolutely the best with all of the detailed steps to build it to that level. Plan on firing up my charcoal Webber tomorrow and digging in to that potato salad tomorrow when I know the flavors will be more amazing. Thank you for sharing.

I think I spent almost $100 on that place between the gumbo and étouffée😋!!! So I am attempting to make an étouffée BUT add Shirmp, crawfish and lobster (following your steps). I appreciate the compliments. There's Shrimp in stuffed eggs at times. There're smothered potatoes with shrimp in it. Shrimp Po-boy has mayonnaise in it. Why not in a potato salad ya know. lol You're welcome!
Ok, update, I swapped out potato's with califlower to make it low CARB. OMG, just as good. Follow exactly like he said, just use a head of califlower instead of potato's. The consistency should be fork tender like he stated. I can't stop loving this...lol😍

Charlie my Mother has always put Shrimps in here Potato Salad and I do the Same. In my Macaroni salad I always put Lump Crab 🦀 meat the real thing and Albacore tuna fish the white tuna fish not that brown looking tuna fish. I have Paid $30 for Jumbo Lump Crab 🦀 meat because of the Pandemic., No Food Stamps 6-27-2022👍🏽👍🏽😊😊. OK I am going to try and Cook my Potatoes in the Shrimps Stock Charlie that will be the First for me. The Seniors are having a BBQ I am making Potato Salad & Mac Salad and Pasta Salad with the Italian Dressing & French Dressing with the Onions-Celery-Eggs-Green and Red Pepper Cucumbers take the seeds out relish and seasoning Delish Charlie 👍🏽👍🏽♥️. I do not use the Whites of the eggs 🥚 neither Charlie I am a good Cook my Family tell me so😊😊

oh that corn flour didn't work on frying fish or hush puppies, i use a cornmeal mix, homey i love all your recipes but if everyone like me we broke to buy some of the stuff you cook, sorry , have a blessed weekend.

Charlie look good, is there a reason why you didnt cut the whole egg vs separating the yellow and white. Normally i cut/dice the whole egg would this compromise the taste of the dish?

Love your recipes Charlie! One question. Did you ever eat the shrimp o’Gratin at Ralph and Kakoo’s? The original I had was with white cheese and was wonderful. Later they changed it to cheddar and it was greasy. I loved the original recipe with the white cheese. Can you recreate it? Please.
