The black version has a different blade which people are saying is better than what the red one comes with. It might not be a bad Idea to review it with the original blade then the black blade after.

Thanks for the review. Oster took way too long in my opinion to drop something like this. It's a huge disappointment for me. The energy in the air right now is forward movement and brand new ideas/tech. We have the Rebels breaking new ground, Babyliss low pro trying something new on their end and add to that the price is right. These guys look like they went backwards! loll Boy did they pick the wrong time to drop these. Scared money don't make money. It looks like they were scared and wanted to stick to what they knew was solid back in the day. It looks like something that came out of a 70's flick and also Oster wants premium cash for it too? This clipper is for someone but it sure ain't me haha. Keep up the good work bro!
