Fun fact, Blood Spear is actually in the base game. It isn't supposed to drop, but it does and it has glitched stats. My friend got one when we first played the Soroboreans DLC back when it came out.
@@SheenShots it is incredibly rare if it's still obtainable. (I am unsure if they patched it). But it has 45 physical - 65 impact - 0.9 attack speed - Infinite durability. A lot of impact for a spear which makes it a solid option.
Hey Sheen, I'm really thankful for all the great Outward content you've created. Your videos taught me a lot about the game and its DLCs. I recently got back into the game to finally play through the DLC content. This is the build I went with, Hermit/Monk/Hunter (Master of motion, flash onslaught, wind infuse, predator leap) Shriek/Griigmerk/Canon pistol Master Kazite armor set with oni mask, all enchanted with assassin. Zorn's hunting backpack/ brigand's backpack Caligray bone cage 1 point of mana Holy Mission I get up to 100 decay resist with the Master Kazite set, holy mission bonuses, decay boon and master of motion for when I use shriek. Use Canon pistol with iron shot at the start of a fight and your now playing on easy mode. I have finished the Caldera quest line, rust and vengeance, the 4 Caldera unknown arena and a few of the other area's arenas. I have had a blast with this amazing game and your videos on it!
Glad you are enjoying the game some more and thank you for watching the vids! I never thought to use this combination to get 100 decay resistance but that's a great idea! That weapon really is easy mode once you can negate the downside. As for cannon pistol... ya its easy mode for sure 😂. Applying confusion and dealing loads of impact. using that with any build makes everything much easier to take down. Except gargoyles of course lol
Hey Sheen! Nice review!!! I was really looking forward to the release of this mod to play with those new weapons!!! I went in blind in my new play through and it is so fun even finding those new shovels and such, or looking around on new locations in case something new is somewhere hidden hehe ,ofc still skipped the "how to get" explaining to not spoil the surpises, but I could not skip from watching the video! Nice job to Permittivity for the mod release and to you for the review! :)
What a killer mod. Ecerything is balanced and lore friendly too. I remember being sad to not drop the crossbow. We only need NPC armor now to get the wendigo/jade golem heads as helmets and others unobtainable stuff
I got so excited when I first fought the enemy with the lightning cannon, I was more than ready to loot that thing. To my dismay I wasn’t man enough to wield it 😢
The title is right - this is a awesome looking mod that I really want to add. Its almost like a dlc in the amount of complexity it adds to the game. I think we've all said "man i wish i could use that weapon" at some point. The ironside hammer looks like it would pair well with Speedster and Monk skills. With Slayer gear, Weaver backpack and Miasmic Tolerance you could avoid the downsides altogether
Kool idea for a mod..but to many debuffs..just not enough to make a player return to the game..like myself..after at least 20+ completions the game just don't give enjoyment any longer..
No se ustedes pero me gustaria usar un golen como compañero en vez del tipico espectro al usar magia de nigromante o podes crear uno y desplegarlo🤔 ya fuera el golem con estoque o el de bestia
Iron sides hammer. I suddenly remembered about build that gives immunity to debbufs. I was looking for options to play with Exalted and seen that build. With that said... debbuf immunity build+this wonderfully hammer+exalted. Wonder how that would be....lol
It is a chance of inflicting and not a buildup, so status resistance doesn't work against it. (I tried having it as a build-up first, but the playstyle didn't feel fun. It kinda just sucked when you got the effect, and you would have to pace your combat a lot. If you wanted to use it freely you had to max status resistance. On the otherhand when I tried it as a random chance then the gameplay felt much more dynamic and fun. You never know when you will get 'Hampered'. And if you have breathless too, then you have to be mindful of the enemies stability, your stamina and if you have counter moves available to block enemy magic attacks.)
the gargoyle urn is pretty interesting, sound like if you would increase the attack speed of both weapons and add a sword too, it would make for a very dynamic game style switching stance and melee every x seconds
is there any info on if you can enchant these? Lightning Scimitar with the Rainbow Hex Enchantment with the rust lich armor would be absolutely insane for a hex mage
The weapons only have base enchantments available at the moment. I think if the lightning scimitar had the Rainbow Hex it would outclass both the cerulean and the steel sabre (both in attack speed and in damage only having lower durability). I could add other enchantment options for early-game such as Castigation or Storm though :)
@@RSVikingJohn. Sorry, but what do you mean with Base enchantments? 😁 For example if I want to enchant the Gold lich cannon what are those base enchantments?
@@SeventhheavenDK What I mean by base enchantments is enchantments like whiplash, poltergeist, fulmination and molepig sigh. All weapons can be enchanted with these :)
I found speed on knuckles actually is crazy beneficial. Point is to hit enemy as fast as possible. Enemy get stuck in "receiving animation". And you just finish him. Also, you inflict status fast
Hey, sheen! Thanks for all the videos, I've just recently found out about this game and have been loving my time with it...still, I haven't found any guides on how death works on this game. Is there one on your channel (and, if not, could you do one)?
I do not have a guide that that but I am glad you are enjoying the channel. Death in Outward: -You will always respawn unless you play hardcore (hardcore there is a 20% chance your entire character is deleted). -There are a ton of death scenarios that can encounter when dying -Death almost always respawns you in a different area with burnt health, stamina, and mana. -Death does not count against you, (as it isn't really dying, your character is defeated and wakes up in a bad state) but dying often puts you in situations that aren't good. Things like captured by bandits, eaten on by animals, and stuck in the back of a cave. You must then escape or gather your gear hopefully better prepared this time. Hope that helps!
I can only think of one NPC which uses a gun which is Josef from New Sirocco Gladitorial Arena and he uses a Cannon Pistol. Adding completely new pistols to this mod wouldn't probably fit with this particular mod. If I'm missing one, I'll definitely slap it on my to-do list! :D I remember someone working on completing weapon sets with missing weapon types, and there are several sets out there that are missing their gun. Many of them are in the game asset list, but not available to the player nor used anywhere in-game. I don't remember exactly who were working on that mod unfortunately. Additionally it wasn't finished by the time I saw it, and I don't think it has been released.
@@RSVikingJohn maybe, but even some more pistol skills would have been nice. There is a Vampiric Pistol in the game files, maybe add that to an npc and give it a smaller blood bullet effect.
