Yes I can confirm this . I recently bought this weapon from smuggler in slums for my gunner build. Works great in pair with obsidian pistol.

you dont need to do her quest ...for the live patch now all you go to do is Blood under the sun quest. you need to kill and remove the baron and get the lever open. once you complete it and also unlock tamara. 90% of the time she will sell it. I have tested in on 4 characters with diff factions. I guess the result is cos the baron was controlling the slum and the merchants.

@@actondon6573 true you don't have the time to place traps on most arenas before combat starts... but that's why you build for movement speed

yeah for a very small development team, the artist they had for the armor and weapons did a great job. Many unique looking designs and they are mostly all very appealing

it's just a prayer claymore , you can get it in ornate chests and some quest enemies have them [ie the optional bandit chief in the blue line quest ]

I never actually got it, and I killed dozens od those damn birds. The wiki says that the drop rate is only 2.38%

making life potions gave you 3 per craft.... you had potions for days. bandages and healing food were almost pointless by the time you joined a faction. making warm potions was an easy way to make money, as 1 water and 1 oil also made 3 instead of 1. this money making “hack” was actually the reason why it was changed to make only 1 potion and why all the other Boon potion recipes still give you 3. that being said, unless you joined the Blue Chamber, there was also no warning about the Vendavel quest anywhere else, AND you had half as much time, maybe even less. so most people’s first play through had a big “wtf happened???” moment with zero explanation (myself included). the ability to go into destroyed Cierzo also did not exist, and was patched in months later. so it was kind of a mixed bag, balance-wise. some things were easier, where as others were actually harder. in fact, i don’t think it was just the Vendavel quest that got a time extension, i think many, if not most of them did.

the game has received many updates you know. things have changed over time🙄

Trypich yes sir. On my second play through, I went to vendavel fortress and cleared it before joining a faction and then once I did join one and reached the pin that the quest would activate when I went back to cierzo I got the credit for quest completions .

@xCHOPZx I like this type of games (monster hunter feeling to some extent) so I will be playing the game at some point. Are there other bandits that could attack the city and make me lose my loot? Because that's the one thing I wanna spoiler myself, would hate losing my stuff.

Trypich i haven’t found any other mechanics that make u lose the town access or loot. Other than the vendavel quest

more likely the Demon’s greathammer. it’s a dead ringer for it and far more iconic than Morne’s, as that one was only in ds3 and its also not yellow, whereas the Demon’s hammer was in ds1 and 2
