I'll have to pull you up on that one there Harry! 6:00 mins YEAH might be a bit more quiet than my 79 but there is FAR TOO MUCH TECH on that red 79 you took for a spin! 75 anniversary... HA, looked like they added more PLASTIC TOO!!! I also see that you are running with my new theme of RED and BLACK!! LIKE WTF MATE? Stick to your shopping trolley and burning FOOD mate! In other words stick to what you know and stop trying to be a 4WD vehicle reviewer...

Harry and Sam, I can tell you from experience with my 2 girl and camping in a tent. We started when they were around 8-9 months old and even then, between them getting covered in dirt and getting into things climbing on the table. You will have your hands full for a bit. But the memories that you will make will out shine the bits of mischief. Can’t wait to see the next video.

Full marks for perseverance! Your child is part of who you are as a family. I was the oldest of 5 kids and our family went on our first caravan holiday when my younger sister was 6 months old - we were hooked.

Great vlog. When I took my kids tent camping the first time they were 5 and 3 respectively... they proceeded to break the zipper on the tent, and dump about a gallon of water inside right before bed. Magical. But we stuck with it and they love it now (12 & 10). Enjoy enjoy enjoy!!!

As for that fire pit well it reminds me of a grave site now with that large rock sticking up. Oh and I still wouldnt waste my money on that new 79. Tell your friends to check out a Pajero if they havent already got a car. They are very under rated.

@firetofork
@firetofork 2 года назад
We don’t live in the outback mate, we live in a city. Red dirt means it has been used on the mines where they are absolutely flogged. Not one you want to pay nearly $50k for. The red dirt doesn’t start until you’re 6 hours north of Perth, so getting one without red dirt is incredibly easy

@karl4834
@karl4834 2 года назад
Yeah, kind of surprised at that opinion, too. Heya, Harry, before condemning that Fortuner as an ex-miner or rental or somehow abused, did you check its providence, how did you conclude it was a 'problem' in less then 5 minutes? And please, I hope you're not just putting it all down to the presence of red dirt, because if that is the case then everyone should leave your Prado well alone when it comes time to sell. Years ago I bought a 4runner with heaps of red dirt under it, from the original owners towing a small van down lots of outback roads. Such a great buy that I dropped $10k of accessories in it and took it places you could only hope to see in the Kimberly 20+ years ago...you know, when that joint really wrecked vehicles. Moreover, like you, my current car is well cared for and has seen plenty of the more recent 'outback" and I can assure you that I would happily sell any of my vehicles with a good conscience. Sure, miners and rentals are probably not the best choice for the non-mechanically minded, but the presence of red dirt seems a little hypocritical, eh?
@firetofork
@firetofork 2 года назад
Yeah mate, the salesman confirmed it was a miner. It was very poorly cared for in many ways and badly pindan stained. Looks very different to mine, despite how much red dirt mine has seen. I would also buy a car with red dirt, but the price tag would obviously have to be lower than one that has only seen highway (that includes for my car). This one was priced like a highway-only car
