Nice review. I appreciate your balanced review. Have a vicious coarse goatee area as have toyed with idea of OC so it isn't wrestling all of the hairs at the same time in the same plane. But on a more exciting note, did i understand you right about getting a free Traeger for a simple repair? Congrats brother.
@chritopheratkinson635 yup neighbor was throwing away a traeger Jr with cover. LCD had an error message on the display. I looked it up & most info said check 2 main wires to the display. Sure enough they were not secured properly inside & had rubbed the fan & got cut. 10 minute repair. Made countless dinners on it since. 😂😎
@christopheratkinson635 I got too side tracked with traeger stories of grandure. I stumbled upon the best OC razor I’ve ever used. Very easy to work with. Mild blade feel & efficient especially for how little blade feel it has! Yaqi sent me their “Mellon” OC. I assumed it was the same as the razorock SLOC I had which looks identical in pics. I tried the Mellon and wow it’s fantastic! Much less blade feel then sloc and hasn’t knicked or bothered me at all. Of major worthy note they make a cheap zamac $8 variant which is the one I am referring too. For whatever reason the SS version is more aggressive & a different head ( per my yaqi rep). It’s only on Ali express. Any 5mm thread handle will fit but they also sell handles. Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. If you try it let me know what you think. @okiedokie_cool I saw that! A friend of mine is admin for an Indian wet shavers group and invited me there. They get different things than we do & tease me. He is a pilot maybe I’ll tell him to fly one over 🤣
I believe the 24c is same head just different handle. The razorrock SLOC is even less forgiving 😂. I can work with the 26c but it’s a bit much for me. I will say it was nicer to use for few days growth vs less for sure. It was smoother with more growth to cushion the blade.
@regis03 I have not used that Parker model. 78r,26c, semi slant, variant open & closed combs are what I’ve tried from Parker. Parker razors besides the 78r and known to be more medium then mild razors even the closed combs.
