Dude, your videos remind me of when I first started fishing as a youngin when I was growing up in Sarasota. Made the move to the Canadian Rockies and have transitioned to catching rainbows, cutthroats, brown and bull trout on the fly instead of snook, jack, reds and the such these days. Miss the warm weather but as you know, EVERY day out on the water is what life is all about...

South? Never seen this spot before... really mixing it up. Always great to get a tarpon but for the number of hours fished the bite seems really slow. I caught more fish walking around in my backyard in the last 30 mins then I did in the last 3 trips in my boat! Not sure what the deal is, need to turn things around somehow. Backyard was going off after the rain: 3 peacocks, 1 snakehead, 1 bowfin, 1 bluegill, 1 largemouth... and the ultra rare freshwater snook! It’s only like 6th one I’ve gotten this far from the ocean as I’ m two spillways from the inlet here. I knew the bite would good from the rain but didn’t take the GoPro which was a big mistake since I missed the getting the snook on video.
