Congrats on the 743! That’s what I would get now that there is a choice. Pilot makes the best pens and the worst converters! I’m still envious of your Benu. I think my firmed told me they use Schmitt (sp?) nibs and she loves them even more than Jowo nibs. And yes Platinum Carbon Black fits!
Not sure why you said you can't get the FA nib on the 823. You can in Japan. I got the WA nib on my clear 823 Japan import 👍🏻 Congrats on your amazing new pen and I'm already sure you'll love it. Looks good and a superb nib. Thx for the feedback about the last video comments as we did indeed have some good discussions so I'd be eager to hear of your later attempts to carry a FP on a plane. Next week I fly to New York and am deciding which pens to take with me for the holiday, however the TN will be with me for sure. Thx 😄👍🏻

@@StationeryAt4the Nibsmith sells Pilot pens with the wide range of nibs, including the 823, unlike most US sellers who only offer EF, F, M, B. I think they have it listed as a falcon nib. Their shipping is a little slow, even with in stock items, but it was worth the wait for me.
Gorgeous new Pilot! I love their nibs. Added "Under Alien Skies" to my TBR. Speaking of skies, are you getting good views from the geomagnetic storms where you are? I'm in the northwest U.S. and our skies have been amazing! Loved the kitty demanding attention. BTW, the book anchors are cool (I like the rose gold too). I wish I'd seen this before I asked for another brass Traveler's clip for mother's day.
You know I haven't had much luck on the storm display. My sister who lives 'up the hill' from me was able to see an incredible show. Maybe tonight... Glad you're getting a good show!
