The only one of these I got during spring was the Issey magnolia. I received it as a gift and I have to say that for me it was meh. I'm not a huge floral lover, especially when there isn't anything to deepen it or spice it up. I heard you say that you got the classic Issey musk in it but I didn't at all. Honestly imo it was super linear and it doesn't give me anything reminiscent of the classic Issey. The Miss Dior I am somehow just now as I watched this discovering it. Idk how the heck I have gone all these months without hearing about it. From everything you described and by the notes it sounds like it would be right up my alley. Maybe I haven't heard of it from anywhere else because the majority of people feel the same as you with it? I am definitely going to attempt to find a sample or decant though. I've never been a fan of any Poco Rabanne perfumes, but this Solar one sounds amazing. If I ever see it I will most likely try it on my skin and hope it goes with the chemistry of my skin.
Hi Soki, thanks for the excellent reviews. I agree with you about the Miss Dior new perfume. I don't like the smell. Also Rose & Rose's by them it has zero lasting power. I got a free spray, & about 2hrs later could not smell it all. For their prices it's a waste of money. Keep the reviews coming. Here in South Africa I cannot get the new releases even My Perfume Shop online doesn't have them.
I totally wait for you to review any Dior perfume before I buy. You and I have very similar taste in scents. I'll be passing on the new one even though I think the bottle is gorgeous.
I’m interested in the Cristal because it has many of my favorite notes, but I don’t think it’s available in the US yet. What is something similar but stronger for out-of-house wear?
Soki, can you suggest some frangrances good for sensitive noses? Recently, I have had an allergy attack from my bath and body works fall mist and a perfume I sprayed. I am kinda afraid of trying other ones due to it.

The Miss Dior perfumes are SUCH a let down. 😩 I have rose and roses and the lasting power is not great although it smells lovely. Definitely not value for money. The Olympia perfume is lovely and much better value for money x
That is really too bad about the Miss Dior. I wonder if there is an unlisted oud note because guaiac wood shouldn't be giving an oud impression, it's usually more smoky, cozy, and vanillic (think MM's Replica By The Fireplace or M. Micallef's Gaiac). Oud is usually more musky, masculine, sometimes medicinal (like a bandage!), and can go barnyard (!) I'm personally not a fan of oud at all and it ruins a fragrance for me. I know a lot of people love it, though, and there's been a million rose & oud combos so perhaps Dior is jumping on that bandwagon. I also see that this Miss Dior has musk and vetiver, which also often lean masculine so maybe it's the combo of those two with the guaiac. Either way, how disappointing and what odd note choices for this line! On the other hand, that Olympéa looks really good to me, definitely want to try that one.
