I have just bought the GT model yesterday and there is a 2 month lead time which is fine as happy to wait for such a beautiful car. We ordered the white version of the GT same as you were driving but to be honest all the colours are quite nice. The key features for us were range, comfort and what we felt was value for money. Overall, we were impressed with it and my partner is very small and she loves it. Cant wait to get our hands on it :-). Great review.

I ordered mine straight off my test drive on the 8th July, officially Peugeot estimate I’ll get it around November 25th but dealer reckons it’ll be around mid September. I went for the GT in obsession blue.

@@Squizzyjmh-go8hj good to know as we were told 2-3 months for delivery. So that's good that it may be a bit earlier. Obsession Blue is a cracking colour too - was the colour I wanted but I got overruled by the Mrs for the white one lol

I also went for the white GT with pano roof and heatpump after cancelling the obsession blue. Ordered in May and they said I could pick it up in one of these days... I can't wait.

I have just ordered mine the car is so nice to drive and very easy my partner was unsure because of its size and her being quite small but she loved it and drove it like a pro. For me i have always liked loud exhausts fast cars i drive an S3 at the minute and always said i would never go to electric but i fell in love with it too and will be saying goodbye to my beloved S3 but its staying in the family so will see it anyway.

I have make a 1500 km tour with Peugeot e-3008 GT, 73 kWh battery, 4x2, 0-100: 8,8 s, and I own a Tesla Model Y AWD Long Range. Model Y will absolutely destroy the 3008 in price (50 000 vs 55 000 euros), aerodynamics, weight, 0-100, max speed, boot and passenger space, general dynamics and even on passing street bumpers. Here are the Peugeot advantages, soundproofing is better in 3008, car has massage and seat ventilation (AGR certified seats), a Focal audio system wich is on par or maybe better than Tesla audio system, interior is spectacular and i-Toggles are good and configurable, good quality in general, better than Tesla in most aspects, also ground clearance is by far better on 3008. 17,6 kWh average with 4 passengers and luggages, wich is amazing, considering 2108 kg empty car weight. Minimal consumption without driving on highways, 13,6 kWh. Very good, but not enough to beat Tesla, I have 15 600 km on my Y, average fuel consumption is 15,1 kWh and minimal is 11,4 kWh (AWD, 514 CP, 0-100 in 4.4s...).

I test drove this last week and having never driven an electric car before I can't compare with others but against my petrol 2008 it feels very nice and comfortable ride. I don't need much more than that really

Great video - can’t believe that is a Peguot, so expensive look

Disappointing that it is not on a bespoke EV platform as this leads to an inefficiency and compromise. Also it is crazy expensive - what are they thinking 😮
@garypollard
@garypollard Месяц назад
Actually it is, it’s built on the Stellantis Medium EV platform.

@@garypollard it’s hardly a bespoke EV platform if they offer it as a hybrid as well - it’s just compromised from the start.

I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and it has a lot of ergonomic issues. This car is fine if you’re 5’6”. I’m 6’1 and it is dangerous to use the control panels whilst driving as you’re reaching over the wheel to control 99% of the functions. The screen isn’t very responsive and every function takes 3 or 4 steps to complete something a switch or dial used to do perfectly fine. It just distracts you way too much on the road. You are not allowed to use phones on the road and this falls into that category in my opinion. It’s just dangerous. The headrest is so large that on full height extension it sticks into my shoulder blades. After a 20 min drive my neck was sore. The seat belt doesn’t go up or down so it cuts into your neck/chest. The door cards are so thick (about 71/2”s) I couldn’t sit down with my phone in my pocket and close the door. The brakes on mine have nearly gone to the floor on 3 occasions, dealer says there’s nothing wrong with them. I’d be interested to know if others suffer this. Electric seats should not have been an expensive option considering it has every other option and you are paying nearly £50k for it. I feel like this car wasn’t tested with a range of real life people and situations. It’s stuff that should have been picked up in R&D My missus loves the car but she is 5’5” and it suits her better. It’s not all bad, it does drive nicely and the range seems pretty bang on for the mileage you do in regard to battery health remaining. It is a smooth ride, but the suspension is a bit on the hard side when you hit a bump or pothole. It charges a decent amount in a short space of time. The kick boot option is nice. I know it sounds like I’m slating it, but it’s just my personal review from my perspective. Like I said, if you’re shorter it will suit you better. It has now become my missus car and I bought myself something else.

I wish more car makers embraced the one long display screen.AND custom made options..its just makes easier viewing experience when driving. The 2 seperate screen in most cars today looks dated

Nice looking car but far too expensive to lease on our company scheme - more than a Model Y RWD. I guess that’s due to the forecasted horrendous depreciation. Whilst I really like the car (we already have a Stellantis EV), no one is going to buy them at anywhere near that list price, it’s completely unrealistic.

@@allanbriggs9007 poor acceleration, poor cornering, poor suspension setup, as I said above, driving dynamics in general make it a very boring car. If they want to put a German price tag on it, they better up their game. Also the seat ventilation is way too loud. The OS is already dated and limited. The very grey interior also makes it boring for me , design looked great at first but too old fashioned material wise and color wise, not very lively. Great car if you're +65 maybe... The dynamic itoggles are great and inventive but in general other cars have a way more complete package for the value.

@@wimd4964 I bought a Peugeot 3008 last year. A 2022 GT model with the 2.0L diesel engine (ex demo). I must admit I am not a fan of EV's at the moment - too heavy and batteries haven't been perfected. I admit I haven't driven the EV model. The diesel engine has plenty of power and at least 1000km fuel range. Mine has the normal 18" wheels rather than the 19" low profiles. They are not suitable on some of our roads (Australia). I must admit I like the design of my model and the interior (with full leather seats) is excellent. I do like the single instrument panel in the new model (mine has an instrument panel and a separate touchscreen) The 2.0L diesel handles very well for a mid size SUV. I am a very hard driver so good handling is something I need. I did drive the VW and Kia before buying the Peugeot.
