MLB is baaaaaaaack. The new pitch clock? Incredible! Yankees prospect Anthony Volpe? So cool to see him wearing pinstripes on Opening Day in the Bronx. I talked about all this stuff and got into lots more action including snagging some baseballs before the game. Mariano Rivera threw the ceremonial first pitch, Aaron Judge hit the first home run of the season, and Gerrit Cole dominated the San Francisco Giants. Other than the freezing weather, this was a perfect day and I'm so glad to have kicked off my 2023 season.
