Hey all, thanks for joining me on another video. This video is part 2 of the New Player Startup Farm Guide series.
This video is aimed at showing new players exactly how to be self-sufficient on day one of their UO Outlands adventure.

They definitely don't drop anywhere near that level of reagents anymore unfortunately. Think I see 10-12 per now

You are correct, unfortunately. When I made this video the mobs were very different. Health, damage, abilities, and loot were all adjusted roughly a month or 2 ago. Reg counts have been reduced on ALL mobs.

After enjoying your videos for lil while i decided to start playing. There's so much information--everything is very complicated, which is a bit intimidating but I'm really enjoying it. These videos are extremely helpful, for someone like me it took a minute just to figure out that you attack things by enabling war mode! So explaining that you dagger the tree and double click the kindling was great. Thanks so much for making these

I made a mage summoner but I stopped working on it and started working on gathering. I need to get the summoner tome and selling 5k iron ingots can get you 80k gold so that's what I'm doing lately

Thats a great idea right now. Ingots went up since I made this video I believe. Not to mention the monster change has made things more difficult to start. Gathering became more appealing with the change from a few months ago.

recently started Outlands been watching all the content I can to learn this super deep game... I'm with you on using the Cardinal direction thing... Richard Garriot was wild for thinking putting it on a 45 was a good idea lolol

it's about 24k to buy all the regs from the alchemist/mages.. Typically shelter island is always stacked. I just give my new character the $$ and buy it all out and build up a stock pile of regs lol
