i swear i am looking at these videos and think that shit looks sick i wanna play it to but even tho this is an educational video i have no fucking idea what is happening and how to play 😂
Bing Bong! Hey Straw <3 Im looking for something with Archer thats flashy has a lotta bells and whistles when (insert aspect here) procs. Id like it to have good damage to solo farm and can hold there own in groups maybe even bosses? Do ya got anything you can recommended or have a video on? thanks so much!!!! EZ!!!!!!!!
Flash back to the days on Catskills. I was an Anti-PK Lumberjack that after a few weeks the PK's more or less made a deal with me. It was me, with max lumberjacking a few pots/aids. I'd show up at Despise as that's were they'd all gank the newbies. Got to a point where I'd just chunk away Pk's HP and they'd go running off. I did get a few kills but it wasn't that I was killing PK's left and right, I was just so much of a pain in the butt to them because I have VERY little on me and my trusty double sided axe (this thing at the time was clean when it hit and it hit LOTS). So I did back off on them for a while, ended up making friends with Toft and a few others from the bAgOk tRiBe (something along those lines). Dabbled in their trolly ways and learned how to fish for people.... Cast Moongate to the main banks, await some new player to randomly run into it (think this was before the "are you sure?" prompt). We'd have 6 others on the other side with Crop Por pre cast... they never had a chance. Great to see this game still alive. Wish I had time to get back into it...
I do but you have to follow the build I highlight in the video. Death, necro links, follower damage links. It works with this in mind. Mummy + lich for medium difficulty farming OR double Lich. If hard farming like level 4s or wildlands, double mummy works great.
Yessss! You aren't the only one to ask. Thock is king. This is a hi75xLeobog. Check it out on Amazon. It comes prebuilt $90. I have a custom one with ceramic keys and glorious panda switches as well. I love them.
Hi Currently on my dexxer I am almost tier 12 air armor and 11 discipline weapon. Really liking the combo. Would you say Earth armor is comparable to air in terms of defensive and offensive at higher tier? Or air is superior since it covers 10link worth of attack speed?
Air will probably edge out Earth by a bit in terms of dps but uptime is just as important if not more so. If I have to keep running from mobs Im not hitting them. If I can tank the damage and keep stacking those blackguard diseases Im out performing someone who is running.
Yeah I typically like bulwark and as Earth you can get away with standing still for major hits. If not that, than shield bash. I like using Blackguard as I was referring to the in video more than any other stance. Healing codex wise, damage resistance choices and healing timer reduction are my picks.
@@A-Straw-Hat follow up question, just started a week ago, appreciate the response. If I get the last perk that subs discord for music can I replace music with something g and what would you recommend?
That's a great question. If you dont run glass cannon builds you can expect to have kill stolen. If you do run a glass cannon build you might not have kills stolen as often but you are more vulnerable to getting red swarmed. You have to determine which you have more tolerance for at the end of the day. Compare your GPH and how you feel losing a load out or 3 to reds in a day. Keep in mind, unless you are quick to pay attention, you'll likely get got by reds anyways as they typically run in packs. Very few go solo.
@@A-Straw-Hat thats a valid point. I've watched some of your videos and took 3 days of chopping wood and mining to get some gold. Would you recommend this Dexxer or the Necro summoner you posted a while back, to a new player?
@@Manuu-P Both work these days so it comes down to how fast you want to hit end game. Necro will always speed run you to the end compared to a pure chiv dexxer.
It comes down to preference. I know thats an easy answer but its the truth. Id say if you have void armor you could play anything because you have a built in armor ignore. If you don't roll void you have three options. Macing OR Armor ignore links OR Farm where there is low armor I personally find fencing to be the most enjoyable because of the built in accuracy, SSI boost, and disease damage. A lot of people like wrestling for the SSI cap punch animation and stagger. Swords is all about them bleeds!
Im so happy you asked. I actually have 2 of these boards. One I modded with Glorious Panda and ceramic keycaps and the other is stock. Its a leobog hi75. I love it.
Wow that is amazing! Ive been trying to find something with a similar sound. But I get the feeling that most of these boards are extremely expensive or are made i really small stocks. For example the rainy 75 :D Thanks for taking time to reply ;)
@@nicholopez8911 Man you and I speak the same language. I had my eyes on the rainy75...This board I told you about comes completely stock at $90 and should ship in just a couple days. The custom board, which you are not hearing in the video is a mix of parts.
Absolutely im a keyboardholic :D Wow that sounds great I will try and see if it is possible to get it with a scandinavian layout :D That' is obviously a big hurdle but time will tell hehe. Have you tried out any macing builds after the expansion by any chance ? I just made the build in your video but also do want a macing build :P
I have pretty much the same build as you but rocking holy. I'm having a hard time deciding whether to drop arms lore or resist for focus. I have no links yet.
Cool video, thank you for showing the new Kraul dungeon. To be honest I hate poison and disease stuff lol this is a nightmare for me. I like the new dexxing changes though.
@@davidh304 I don't feel that its needed as it is additive damage. I prefer taking the extra healing, utility, and damage reduction talents. To each their own though!
Really cool, but after losing my house and 99% of my stuff because my auto refresh failed while I was out of town on business, I'm just super demotivated to try and grind it all back.
I'm really sorry to hear that. It happens all too often. When I feel I need a break I move everything into an Inn room. If you enjoy the game, don't let not having "stuff" hold you back!
@@A-Straw-Hat I know and it isn't really most of the stuff I care about but mostly the runebooks with all my custom ports and the stockpile that hurt the most. The thought of starting from square one again on that kind of stuff is just ...ugh.
You couldn't be more right. Thankfully neither of these builds need many links at all :). I do speak on this exact topic later on in the video in case you missed it.
Hey! I typically get mushroom ( create food ) - Magic Arrow - Harm - Lightning Bolt - Curse - Mana Drain - GHeal - FS. Some combination of the above works well for me! If you want to AOE farm instead, put points into Chain Lightning and Meteor Swarm!
And p.s., lighthouse is wrong, based on your recommendations, I saw a newb do well on lvl 2 of SSC earlier today with this build. Even without gm magery!
Hello. First of all thank you. LOVE your videos. They have been very helpful. I am returning to UO after 20 years as a previous 10 yr vet of Napa Valley. Still learning all the new stuff. I am working on the Death Necro. Nearly gm in all the main skills. My question to you is this, will my lack of tracking or magic resist make me a sitting smuck (if I have herding) instead of either? Or will the spell damage bonuses & elementals give me a fighting chance 1v1? Appreciate your advice on this. Are you bothered by pks w this build much? Thank you in advance for your time.
Welcome to Outlands! Im happy the videos have been helpful and I hope you are enjoying yourself here. In regards to build, magic resist will help in a 1v1 scenario. If you don't plan to fight back it will help you run. Tracking gives you a warning that there are reds/greys/enemies around and allows you to either hunt them down or avoid them. What I find happens most often is I get jumped by more than 1 red. It's rarely a single red out there deep in dungeons but they are there every now and then. Your elementals will not be much use in PvP. They will do a little damage regardless of herding/spirit speak. They are not to be relied upon for damage, rather, they are there to help soak PvM mob damage during the fight so you dont get clapped. You could strategically pull mobs onto your elementals than target the red, then release your elementals. If you are quick enough you could have the mobs hitting your enemy for you! I tend to not fight reds on my Discord/Death Necro. It has no eval, wrestle, or resist. However, it really doesnt bother me much because the build doesnt lose much in the way of gold if it dies. I farm far more than I lose with it.
