New Players vs Veterans in ETS2 | Euro truck simulator 2 

I started new profile with real economy mod. It is really hard to earn money. Most important thing. I have to drive with defense style, slower when it rains, obey trafic laws. Fundamental truck driving technique is using retarder/engine brake as often as possible. You have to be very careful when slippery is. You can fold truck with trailer into a penknife. I started with curtainside trailers because of most cargos they can carry. I check in the company's city where I have a garage to check which semi-trailer has the most loads. I concentrate on light cargo first due to truck fuel efficiency. Very important thing is to pull up one axle in trailer with light cargo. It will reduce fuel usage. Only hard parking with company mod is allowed :D I need to secure as much cash as possible. The next thing is to plan your route in the cheapest way, try to avoid toll highways. I note in my notebook the cost of toll gates on highways. Another thing lowest fuel consumption is at keeping unchanged speed. So I use free highways as most as I can and try to avoid often accelerate. Mountainous areas are the most fuel-hungry. Sometimes is better to take longer route without uphill climbs. Next I try to predict my 9 hours pause with 3 places. First when I have problems on the way, detours, traffic jams, bad weather etc. Second is with 11 hours drive and third circa 12/13 hours driving. Driving with 5km/h faster than limit gives extra +/- 10 minutes per 100km. When I have a lot of time or I will make pause in closer point I reduce speed from 85 to 82 or even 80 to save fuel. Example 20t cargo from Edirne (TR) to A Coruna (S). 36 liter average fuel usage Scania S500 4x2 from starting point to Austria/Hungary border. Touluse (F) area I have now 32,5 liter per 100km. I have driven through Germany and Switzerland. Spain -> Turkey 3t cargo 25l average fuel consumption. I try to refuel to max in countries which have cheapest diesel, thanks to real fuel prices mod. Parudbak's economy mod have weird and high fuel prices... I'm driving third time in a row from Spain Bulgaria/Turkey. I try to look for freights to cities where there are a lot of companies or to move to another city close by. For now, I'll skip the map tour. I saw in comment section in another video that You plan to make video about real economy mod. This is why I wrote this long... comment. Looking forward to it! You make quality content sir Vutomy :D

Well, I haven’t played this game for such a long time but I have a fair amount of knowledge like making smooth turns. I don’t use in-game mirrors and GPS for the sake of performance. I use the truck’s GPS. I still find it hard to reverse park a trailer maybe because I’m lazy 😅

Calling myself a somewhat SCS truck sim veteran I can say this is true. I have hundreds of hours and thousands of unrecorded miles of driving because I only used the demo, I have learned a lot through those hours spent driving. At first it was hard, obviously, its a truck your driving, not a small car. Now I’ve gotten used to it, I use the features given to me by the truck to make it easier, and I just know how to drive the truck.

I jave played fpr 650 hours, and still its hard to not use the truck's navigation and usee the road signs. Nevermind, the video was nice and i like it, keep doing that type of content, buddy!

If you're a true veteran, then instead of paying for the toll booth, you just drive right behind another vehicle to get past the toll booth before the gate closes

i played long time and i still use in game mirror because i dont really like to use vr to play it so that i keep using it for me driving when i was using steering wheels in games😂
