Nice set up Jeff. I recently visited a fish room of a large pleco breeder (hypancistrus, psueodcanthicus, ancistrus) . He didn’t have any lights on his tanks. He also didn’t have much flowing his tanks, contrary to what most people suggest for plecos. Has me rethinking my go to meta for my pleco tanks. I have a new pleco rack build coming up. It’s going to have a little to no lighting. Peace out y’all. 😉👍
Bell pepper, green chili (wash and remove seeds), whole mushrooms (float even when waighted i use a rock in the center and sink em upside down) , carrots , potatoes , sweet potatoes, apples , i do all my stuff unblanced if the skin doesn't get peeled it gets sliced ... thumbs up my ancistrus plecos love these things aka bushy nose plecos
Dude...start hooking up your basement...central air lines, auto water change system, electrical updated if need be, sections divided out by type of critter you're keeping. The M.T.S....ya got it bad, lol. Seriously, I am really interested to see these plecos in their new tank, and fingers crossed that you can breed them. And I would like an update on those Ziss filters and what you think of them. Somebody's got to be a guina pig, so glad you voluntered, LOL.
If you ever get the L183’s breeding I will definitely want some of the babies. Trying to get some so I can do my own breeding project with them but I ended up with only males when I got mine.
When I built that stand that is what I originally wanted to do but in order to make it long enough for aquriums below it was gtoing to need to be way to long so I keep my 5 gallon bucket of RO water and the mister for the Vivariums under the stand.
Great video! I recently gave my super reds bell pepper and they didn't care for it. They all checked it out but never went back to it. Have you tried blanched spinach?
