New POP - Online

The opening of our new POP in the town of Pocomoke MD. This POP has a 16 channel single fiber DWDM mux giving us 320G capacity in the POP with 160G of it ring redundant. Should be testing 25G DWDM in the near future on the system. Pocomoke is online and serving customers!

came out nice - plus fiber - good selling point for some people - maybe you think about doing some wireless? it looks like a good place to pop up a few antennae #lit

I believe their mainly going for FTTH/FTTP services, WISP’s usually suck, for many reasons. Their goal is to provide low latency optic services where those can’t. Probably a dozen other WISP’s in the area

@@bcm50 Most WISP's at least just buy one DIA and then do million NAT's on it. It's quick, but usually just so unreliable after a few customers, and it's never set in the most efficient way. At least with this FTTH, you can see them actually planning and using real equipment

I think they are in the ranges of 1500-2000 based on bedrooms. But I can get you 10G if you need it :)
