Yeah it’s becoming the worst time to be in canada as a student !! Btw U mentioned STEM, is any degree is STEM safe to go for and is this affecting master or PhD students too ? Thx a lot
Within the considerations proposed by Mr. Miller there's a part that asks if any francophone, masters or doctoral degrees might be exempted of this changes, but nothing is clear yet. Anxiety is getting even worse with this changes since I've already paid my first year of my MBA in advance in order to get a higher chance of my visa approval and ironically they're not giving my money back unless something like a visa denial happens. Whatever happens next I hope to get the best out of it.
@@juanvalverde2272 I feel u bro, did u get ur letter of acceptance from the university and if so which province ? I’m still waiting for mine in BC and yeah anxiety is at an all time high
@@ImCanada thx !! I hope so with STEM and masters students being exempt from these changes !!! Keep us updated as always whenever there is some news !!
Please, i want your advice from your experience. I have an issue with my study permit application, I provided my biometrics on June 10th at the VFS Global. However, when I check my IRCC account, it still shows a request for my biometrics, even after eleven days. Did you face a similar issue?
No, you can check here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/submit-profile/rounds-invitations/category-based-selection.html
Does the PGWP ramifications affect masters students or it’s mostly for undergrads ? And is it for current students or coming. Can we still secure to PR with the AIP ?
Hai Sir,Thank you for your service and I'm continuing watching your videos since along 2 years ..now I'm gonna complete my Business program(last semester). If get administrative officer job in any healthcare sector am I qualified to apply for PR?
The part of the changes that emphasis on graduate extending pgwp beyound 1yr. Is it that all graduate will likely qualify for just a 1yr pgwp but can only extend it with a job offer in demand and a better language score ??? 🤔🤔🤔
Hi! Can you elaborate the extension of pgwp? I just graduated to my 1 yr program yesterday and now I’m applying for pgwp cause I got a job which I think is related to my program. Does this mean I can request for another 1 yr after my pgwp ends and still waiting for PR?
@@ImCanada what can you advise to those graduated students who only find a term contract (with guaranteed extension from the company?). We cannot provide a “long term” contract because the company practices a short term contract until permanency. “Long term” contract is the only thing that’s hindering me from applying IES
I got offer letter from stfx university nova scotia in the course of masters of applied computer science in sept24 intake so what are the chances of me getting the pgwp as per the new speculation in this course in nova scotia province what should i do can you guide me ? Thank u
I received my student permit but it says I can’t work off campus. I thought international students can work part time up to 20+ hrs per week? Please help
My daughter will complete pgdm. Global business management (2yrs program) in Sept 2024 in Ontario province. She future goal is PR. Now what to do? Apply pgwp after graduate or apply any masters? Pl suggest.
@@ImCanada Any ideas when they might announce who these changes apply to? It will suck if I pay my tuition for my next semester then they announce Im not eligible to get PGWP lol cause if that's the case continuing education here would be a total waste of money.
wait wait.. im gonna do my MBA in Canada starting 2025 jan.. whats the job demand for this side... jobs like financial analyst , bookkeeping, finance associate or intern
@@madhunter9370 an MBA is just a waste of money these days. Do a specialisation and also Canada is not how you think it is. Blue collar jobs are paid more than white collar jobs and even if you study in the top universities, you won't get a job in your own field.
@@ImCanada mine is business administration marketing in Edmonton Alberta, should I still go for it ? Or should I move in then change the course, since I don't wanna go through all the hassle of applying again ?
