About Subnautica:
Subnautica is an open world survival game in development by Unknown Worlds Entertainment.
Subnautica allows the player to explore an aquatic alien planet by scuba diving and traveling it, while collecting resources and food to survive. It was released on Steam Early Access on December 16, 2014.
The Xbox release was in August 2016.
The player controls in first-person view the lone survivor of a crashed ship on an aquatic planet.
The main objective of the player is to explore the open world environment and survive the dangers of the planet, while also continuing the story.
Subnautica allows the player to collect resources, construct tools, bases, and submersibles, and interact with the planet's wildlife.
Players must keep themselves adequately hydrated and fed, and must also maintain their oxygen supply while traversing underwater.
They disvocer remnants of the Precursors, an anchient alien species, that used to live on the planet, massive structures and recieve mysterious signals by a strange entity.
The development team opted to use the Unity engine rather than Spark, the engine used for the company's previous game, Natural Selection 2.
Subnautica producer Hugh Jeremy justified this decision because of the different demands that the game places on the engine, and "because [the team] does not include people working on Spark, it's not appropriate for Subnautica to use Spark.
By using Unity for Subnautica, Spark can continue to develop in certain directions, while Subnautica develops in others.
To use Spark for Subnautica would be to try and square peg a round hole."
Subnautica was released on Steam Early Access on December 16, 2014.
Subnautica was originally planned to be released on Xbox One on April 1, 2016, but was ultimately delayed by another month

The planetary destruction evaded achievement could have something to do with the world ending device found in the Q.E.P. I know it’s disabled, but considering in this mod we understand precursor tech more, it’s likely that we might accidentally nearly activate the device and almost destroy 4546B

I think a gargantuan super leviathan might be destroying the planet. If the Architects of the Unknown see this then please add this: Add a few islands on the void and reveal that fish that spawns in the void, also add some gargantuan juveniles, and also add more ghost leviathans and put some bases in the void. The islands would be held up by a variant of the floaters, the Ancient Void Floater and the Void Floater. Also if you can add a custom “Welcome Aboard Captain” voice line for an alien base. Also add some alpha peepers, crabsquids, caves in the biggest islands, and some custom ambience for the void islands. So a part of the void would have the islands and even some skeletons, suggesting the Gargantuan Leviathans hunted some leviathans down. The base would be an aquarium to study some of the new creatures and some base-game creatures. It would have data terminals about the Gargantuan Leviathan, their Lifecycle, and weird audio they captured. You will need to use an alien hatch to get inside cause that’s where the good stuff is. More hatches, and an aquarium with a juvenile gargantuan leviathan. There would be a terminal with a blueprint for their version of the alien containment. It would also contain the blueprint for a Warper Builder, which means you can make your own Warpers and have them defend you and your base. But if you are near the gargantuan leviathan, probably die. Also make there be a custom soundtrack called Rise of the Gargantuan. It would be very spooky music that gives you the feeling something is there. It would consist of bells, pads, synths, and basses. It would be the spookiest track. It would play in the Underwater Islands of the Void. Anything else you can do whatever. The islands would have large resource deposits, Voidvine which would be like creepvine and blood kelp combined, but purple, the seeds are blue, and the bottom seeds are green. Also, make Void Gasopods! The islands would also have brine from the Lost River Cove Tree area. The ghost leviathans would still be there, so would the Garg. Ampeels, Void Crawlers, and even Void Reefbacks. When around one, you can hear Jack saying “HEEYYY REEFIES” but slowed down a ton. (Editing later)

That gargantuan encounter was insane!! What I think could be really cool (and in turn instill a unique sense of fear into the player) is if there were some sort of 'overlord' leviathans. Not many of course, or even one to rule them all (which is what I suppose the garg is). How it hijacked the radio, it would be terrifying for a leviathan to be able to actually speak to you. Psychic and technomancy powers. In short, once encountered, telling the player it has been watching them for a long time, mining essential resources from it's home, destroying fauna and wildlife, and basically that it's had enough of your debauchery and that it's time for the player to cease to exist. I am super excited about this mod. 3rd party lore expansion on alien tech and leviathans... Count me IN!

In the precursor quarantine enforcement base there is actually a small red device that if you scan the PDA will explain to you that it is a device large enough to blow up the planet and possibly surrounding planets

The only thing I can think of for the planetary destruction achievement would be the doomsday device in the Quarantine Enforcement Platform, but that one is malfunctioning. Maybe the enhanced story line involves the device no longer malfunctioning and would require you to disable it

The world saving achievement should be something like shooting the big gun on the island to distract an ancient ghost big enough to eat the crater, reminder that according to the pda, ghost leviathans can have no limit to how far they can grow.

A bit late, but as to the any idea what this achievement could be talking about? "Fortunately, it has malfunctioned." Still need more hints: Its in the QEP building "Scans indicate this device contains enough potential energy to destroy the entire planet, along with most of the solar system. Wonder when this mod will actually come out. The last thing im aware of being mentioned was "late 2021" and then after that it was "by February 2022" still waiting. Thankfully im not on the hype train for it, but itll be nice to have such a massive mod for the game. Been waiting for something that can actually change up the game in ways that arent just annoying.
