any updates? I'm still mopping my drool over this ever since I saw the announcement four months ago! I literally have no need for it, but it's sooo freakin' sweet! I've been wanting a backlit wireless keyboard for so long but would never buy one unless it was to support a creator like you. hope you're doing well! edit: also, please try to be more consistent with captions! I'm deaf and fell in love with your channel because of the captioned content. Nowadays with MacWhisper and other similar free apps, its so easy to create high quality captions!

I'm fascinated by how many pro youtube editors still use the blade tool (and default keyboard settings for that matter). Is it a preference? It just seems so much slower than having add edit bound to a key.

I am so impressed by what you do. There are really a lot of channels who "teach" editing on premiere but you have a special touch to it. I'm waiting for the keyboard, i hope it will not be too expensive though. Thank you

While I've learned most of the hotkeys listed here before watching this video, which is great to go back to, I've realized I have never used the hotkeys set to the top-row number keys. I haven't had the need to work on multiple cameras (yet) and I really, REALLY wish I could bind those to specific effects I use often. As for the writing of this comment, it doesn't seem possible and that would save quite some time.

@@PremiereGal Oh yeah, I got that part already. The problem is that I can't find any of the effects listed anywhere in the Keyboard Shortcuts menu, nor an option within the Effects panel to map an effect to a key. Neither can I on After Effects, on that note. All I can do is hope they add it eventually, as I can't imagine being something easy to do. Thanks again for the replies!
@@ThatOneArgentinianGamer Ya yes, I think you can make presets only, and there may be a shortcut to apply those effects to a clip -- but I'll need to do some research :)
Kelsey, hear me out.. It would be amazing if you were able to supply your Premiere Pro .kys keyboard shortcuts file for Premiere users to quickly implement all of your shortcuts for use with this keyboard. I see that there are multiple shortcuts that you use, that aren't listed directly on the keys, such as 'show guides'/'show rulers' among I'm sure a few more. If this would be possible, I know a ton of us would be stoked! Great video by the way.

she's probably referring to your "Info Cards" i.e. the "i" in the top right corner of the video. When uploading a video it's under the tab "video elements". Also, YT only allows you to link web address to other videos on YT or Url's they approved (i.e. sponsors who pay them) . Hopefully this was helpful. 😇🚀
