New stock options for the Palmetto State Armory JAKL! The MBT Stock from B&T is a solid addition to your JAKL. DISCLAIMER: All firearms presented in this video are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
I couldn’t agree more. I just saw B&T came out with their new RBS silencer that is compatible with SF devices. All my rifles have SF muzzles and I am grateful for a thousand dollar low back pressure SF compatible silencer instead of having to buy the RC3 for 2k after tax and stamp.
Awesome job building this! Thank you for giving us a good alternative to the subpar F5 stock. I immediately returned my stock due to multiple issues and have been making due with a buffer tube and Magpul stock.
pls make pistols caliber options in 9, .40, .45 and 10mm that take glock mags and possibly .50 cal. as well as a 5.7 version that take 5.7 rock mag and/or 5.7 ar style conversion mags.
@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos i have a lot more 🤣 i would love to come out there, meet the team and politic with yall… i just want you guys company to continue to thrive and be innovative.
Just got my stock today. Was super excited until i got it mounted. Firstly use the included screw, my screw that held the picc rail on was a different thread pitch. Secondly and main complaint and the biggest flaw is the polymer on metal hinge! I tried to close the stock after folding and it will indeed crush the polymer hinge connection if you try to unfold the stock without lifting up on it first. Not very happy with that since i didn’t know i needed to lift up on it. I feel that the actual hinge should be entirely metal with these ramps or more like the CZ Scorpion stocks hinge it doesn’t use the locking ramped hinges. Essentially all the flaws on the F5 stock have been carried over into this one. I don’t know if I’ll keep this I don’t see a fix without permanently modifying the stock somehow and replacing the polymer hinges with steel. Also there’s some very slight wiggle in the stock because the included screw might be a a few thousandths too long haven’t taken a micrometer depth gauge to it but i think that’s the case. Either way the stock is only held on by the recess bump and one screw similar to the F5. I might buy their hinge but i think I’ll still need to lift up on the hinge to unfold it.
The F5 just looks so good though. It just needs a massive quality update to be like the Magpul it’s mimicking. The F5 is just too flimsy is all. I’m sure this stock is solid as hell being a B&T.
Making the JAKL better all the time. Would be nice to get the ACR style bolt release, too. If so, I am dropping money on it instead of waiting for Franklin Armory to get their promised ACR reproductions out
Hello Justin. On PSA's H & R lineup, the "653" upper is offered as an individual item. If I wanted to pair the correct lower, M16A1 carbine, with it, what would you suggest, as there is no M16A1 carbine lower in the gray color offered on your site, that I can find. The "653" only comes in gray, also. Am I overlooking the correct lower? Any help and, or, advice would be greatly appreciated, Justin. Thanks!
I own two Jakls and never had a flex issue with the F5 stock. Did PSA change contractors producing the F5 and that contractor is using a thinner material ?
Where do you live? SinistralRiflemen noted a lack of fibreglass in the F5 stock; this my be causing the increase of flexing, and this may be exaggerated further in hot climates. Curious if its ok for you because you live someplace colder?
