I would be very interested in a top loading (not motorized tray) CD transport in the 9"x6" size chassis, either height, though the 2" is probably easier. It doesn't need USB Hub functionality, and only needs SPDIF outputs. You could probably get away with just coaxial in the slim 1.5" chassis. I do think that 5 buttons and a simple display like on Urd would fit along the front, though a different display dimension may be needed. In this size I do not believe a remote is required, as I see it as mostly going with Modius or Bifrost based desktop systems.
I bought my first Schiit product a couple of years ago. Now I know why the reviewers (Guttenberg, Darko et al) go so crazy about Schiit. Great product, well built, and very reasonably priced.
I 2nd this. When is the Schiit Hel+ going to be back in stock? It’s a little strange like it’s being discontinued or something. All I get from Schiit is ‘check the website…’
I'd love to see Schiit offer an upgraded aluminum remote for the Syn. I'd sure buy one. The Syn is great, but let's face it, the existing remote is pretty craptacular.

I’m definitely disappointed that you are shutting done CA! Tesla still has a huge factory in Fremont, CA, and a lot of their R & D and software is still done in CA! In fact the Optimus Robot is being developed there! What about the “Schiiter”?

So many people and businesses I know, are exiting California. I completely understand why and it's never one's turning their back at their Californian heritage. Why California has become somewhat unliveable, is a major head-scratcher and a large discussion topic. It's a mixture of demographics, rising costs, excessive ideology in public administrations, drastic inequalities, and so forth. California is going through a phase, and with Texas having a similar climate, a super attractive tax regime, more affordable everything, and a growing, cosmopolitan community of highly-skilled locals and expats... what's there not to like ?
Jason’s comment that tube amp sound results from the combination of an output tube and transformer. Only a few folk are left that know that art. Jason would be starting from scratch. With hard work and luck he could make a decent amp eventually. That effort might better go into s Son of Tyr, a linear power supply class AB amp now an endangered species.

Disappointing about no plan for a super Syn multi-channel preamp, but a add-on multi-channel surround extractor Jason mentioned to the Freya+ would do the trick.
Suggest that when you shift the Ask me anything’s to TX, you do them from a listening room that has been treated for reverb time. Schittr lounge was a bit muddy last night. Just need a tidy corner unless a mad scientist vibe is desired!
California has so much to offer, such as weather, beautiful landscape, ocean, but financially it makes no sense for any business to stay there. Hope all works out well with the move and adjustment to freedom and liberty. Schitt Audio is amazing, I look forward to acquiring more pieces for my systems.

You know I got an idea, why don't they open a factory in every state? Hell they could even go further and open one in every country around the world. I mean the logistics would be a son of a bitch to figure out. But Jason's a smart man he can do it. Plus with having a factory and warehouse in every conceivable location on the planet Earth they'll be able to get my modi to me quicker.
I am going to call it here: The Saga 2 is a cut down version of the Kara. One XLR and one RCA output; 4 inputs and one being XLR. Maybe a headphone out, but maybe. $300 for the black version.
